Vacation rentals with a firepit in Macon County

Solo female traveler: Cedric was professional and friendly. The room was very private, because the home is spacious and laid out well. Spotless room and bathroom, comfortable bed and soft linens. The home itself is beautiful, the living areas are furnished and in excellent condition, the kitchen is huge and has every imaginable appliance you would need to make elaborate meals. The home is at the end of the road, and surrounded by trees and extremely private. It's a very easy 15 min drive to Auburn and downtown. The rate is INCREDIBLY reasonable for what you are getting. I am wary of rooms inside of homes, but Cedric allows you to decide if you want to engage, and he appears to stay so busy that I only saw him once anyway. Interesting guy, makes you feel like an old friend. I will book here without hesitation when I return to the area. Safe, clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Definitely 5 stars.

Staying at Priscilla’s was a true treat!! She and her husband are such a joyful couple, and so welcoming! Their home is absolutely breath taking! They were so thoughtful the entire time we stayed. We woke to fresh coffee, and bagels and they kept in touch throughout the stay. You truly feel taken care of in their home! All the small touches were so thoughtful. I would absolutely stay again! I would given them ten stars if it were possible! Thank you, Priscilla & John

We enjoyed our Stay at the Tiger’s Den! Very comfortable and had a Home-Like feeling. The host even allowed us to check in early. I would definitely stay there again.

CLEAN , SPACIOUS, VERY FRIENDLY

Going back to it's roots, Teresa's place is Luke the original AirBnBs and like many in Europe- a shared space with the host. I wasn't sure how this would work out, but it was so lovely. I use AirBnB quite a lot for business and personal trips and save my 5-star ratings for places like this. Although Teresa's place is not the newest or shiniest, it is the most welcoming, comfortable and accommodating. The beds and furniture in our side of the house were very comfortable, the fencedon yard for our dog from our back door was perfect, and the grounds were a delight for my kids to discover. It was like staying with your favorite Auntie... the one who knows you best and knows just how much attention and space to give. Plus, it's just 15-20 minutes of a straight shot to Auburn! Side note: she does have dogs, but they our outside or in her side of the house.

We had an amazing weekend at the Lake House. Everything was wonderful. We checked in on Friday and didn’t leave until checkout on Sunday.

This place was perfect! We really enjoyed our short stay here. We planned a last minute trip from PA to surprise friends here and this was affordable, clean and quiet. Exactly what we needed! If you are looking for a good place to eat BBQ go to Mae pops!! That was the best BBQ I have ever had!
