Vacation rentals in Madison County

Jessica was a real peach. Always responsive and helpful and would be receptive to making things as accommodating as possible for a guest stay. The area is somewhat remote and you need to drive a few miles for gas, food or any kind of recreation. For us, it was just fine though for a weekend stay. Comfortable and warm.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the home was SO cozy and clean and so well stocked with EVERYTHING we needed (and more!) beds were super comfy and our dog loved the fenced in area. And it was so nice not to have to walk her on chilly mornings and evenings! We were in town to visit family in Athens and it was a short and scenic drive. The couch was HUGE and our daughter slept comfortably on it. The kitchen is AMAZING and we loved cooking breakfast in it (with included eggs and milk!) The place was stocked with dog toys and a blanket for the pup to use on the couch. We would absolutely stay again! We watched deer in the AM and PM and it was so peaceful. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay! The most dog friendly Airbnb EVER!!

What a wonderful place. This is the second time staying here, the location is private, but convenient. The house is wonderful. Will definitely plan on staying here again.

We had a wonderful week with our family. Everything was exactly as described - a lot of relaxation but close to the UGA games. Wonderful mix of both! Kitchen was well equipped for a perfect Thanksgiving feast. THANK YOU! Highly recommend.

This place is a gem! It was perfect for a couples relaxing getaway. The photos were on point but really don’t even do justice to the charm this home holds nor the magical experience all of the animals exude on the neighboring farmlands. Much better than expected and as a surprise for my spouse as a long getaway weekend, she couldn’t quit saying how awesome, beautiful and quiet this home was. The attention to the little details such as coffee, snacks, bottle water, s’mores kits, gift honey and personalized coffee mugs were more than we have experienced anywhere else. The mention that a portion of our cost will be donated to the local animal rescue just tops off how creative and welcoming this family is. Thank you and we will be back!

What an absolute gem! If you value privacy, fresh country air and a nice cabin to getaway to, this is for you. Jean was super friendly and responsive. Very clear instructions were provided. She even left the place lit up so I could find it at night. Loved being able to bring my dog and let him explore. Did not see any neighbors or pets for the full 4ish days there. I found myself glued to the patio most of the stay just soaking it in. Truly a great spot I plan to return to. Should have double checked supplies before running to the store! Was blown away by how much was already in stock Thanks again Jean and what a beautiful cabin you have!

This was our first stay at an Airbnb and it was perfect! Susan was such a gracious host. We arrived late due to travel time and got into the apartment with no issues. Susan had a beautiful vase of fresh fall flowers sitting on the kitchen table as we walked in. Fresh fruit, muffins and much more for breakfast. Who doesn’t love a coffee station? We loved everything about our stay and will definitely be back! I couldn’t ask for anything more for our first stay at Airbnb! Go Dawgs!!

It’s a great little private cabin away from any sounds of civilization. I highly recommend if you’re looking to get away from regular life for a couple days. I will be returning in the future!
