1000 characters won't be enough to describe how much we loved this house!! The project of the Earthship is fascinating, and the result is just beautiful. The conservatory/corridor feels like a mini jungle (expect a few insects to share your living space). It's brilliant for a family with ample space and five beds. We played a lot of hide and seek! The garden outside really feels peaceful; In April the flowers are in full bloom. You do have to adhere to the ecological project and there are a lot of rules around water use, waste, etc. but they all make a lot of sense. The surroundings are stunning with the view on the Sacred Glaciers, and there are lots to do around (Salineras de Maras, Moray terraces). People in the village of Maras were very friendly despite our limited Spanish. Be careful, the last few km of road are not easy to drive with a city car (bumpy dirt track). Also, follow the instructions very carefully to find the house or you may get lost in roads difficult to navigate.

The Casa Raices was a dream location for our time in the sacred valley! We treated ourselves by making a fire and watching the stars above as we made ourselves at home here. Maud was helpful in making sure we had everything we needed for a clean transition into her home, and even went above and beyond in providing us with a pdf showing us recommended spots to enjoy while we were there. Thank you for such incredibly hospitality, Maud!

Traditionele woning met goed internet en zelfs een grote smart tv. Sfeervol en prachtig gelegen. Ook mogelijk om zelf te koken met een goed uitgerust keuken. De waterfilter was erg handig om drinkwater te maken. Comfortabele bedden. Wel gehorig met krakende deuren, blaffende honden en schimmel in de badkamer boven. Maar het geld zeker waard!

El lugar nos encantó, super limpio ordenado, tenía todo lo necesario y más. El acceso es un poco complicado sino conoces el lugar pero la ayuda del encargado fue buena. Vistas maravillosas y el ambiente simplemente mágico.

Excelente lugar para pasar días tranquilos en familia, cómoda y espaciosa. Disfrutamos de la piscina, las áreas verdes, parrilla y horno. Recomendado!

Daniel y su mamá fueron hosts super atentos, amables y flexibles✨. Tuvimos un inconveniente personal y fueron muy comprensibles, apoyándonos en todo momento. La casa estaba muy bonita y espaciosa 🙌🏼. La cocina estaba súper equipada con todo lo que necesitábamos. Los servicios disponibles corresponden a la descripción. Nos brindaron orientación sobre opciones de comida y transporte lo cuál fue súper útil. Definitivamente nos volveríamos a quedar.

Es un lugar hermoso! Estuvimos x semana Santa, el lugar es realmente hermoso, Fabrisio siempre atento a cualquier consulta y duda. Es un lugar perfecto para pasar en familia, con amigos, con niños, todo estuvo espectacular! Definitivamente volveremos!

I can't say enough good things about our stay. This three-bedroom spot was perfect for our family, which included kids and grandparents. The place felt inviting and homey, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The kids loved having their own room, and use of the playground right outside the front door. We enjoyed the fully-equipped kitchen so we could cook our own meals, and the half-bath on the first floor was convenient when spending the day in-and-out. We also felt safe and secure as the community is staffed and gated. The location was beautiful and the weather was perfect, allowing us to enjoy ample time outside. We didn't bring our dogs, but we easily could have, especially because there was an enclosed patio at the back of the home. There was space to park our vehicle and we were a close drive from the main area, where we happened upon some festivities for the holiday and enjoyed meals and drinks at a few local restaurants, cafes, and breweries. Highly recommend!

Great stay in Irwin's country house. The house is spacious with all the modern equipment. Nested at the foot of Veronica Mountain (6000m), the beautiful garden allowed us to enjoy the outdoors. Off the grid but close to the tourist attractions of the Sacred Valley. We went easily to the Inca ruins of Ollantaytambo, to Machu Picchu (you can go by train or by foot), the Salineras of Maras... Thank you Irwin for your hospitality, always available and caring !

Darwin’s bungalow was truly unique. The building is located right by the edge of the restaurant and offers a beautiful view of the river and the surrounding nature. From time to time, we were pleasantly surprised by visits from monkeys and sloths in the trees right in front of the cabin, an unforgettable experience! The staff was incredibly helpful and extremely friendly, and we felt very welcome throughout our stay. The food at Darwin’s restaurant was delicious and clearly prepared with love , we ended up eating there every single day. We are truly grateful for this wonderful stay and would happily recommend it to everyone!

Localizacion impresionante y muy seguro. Hemos pasado una semana maravillosa y repetiríamos sin duda. La casa es preciosa, cálida y disponía de todo. 100% recomendable.

Johuel is a wonderful host. He was very responsive with everything we needed. He even changed our towels and sheets during our one-week stay, which I found very thoughtful and impressively clean. He also let us store our bags for an afternoon after we checked out. One important thing to know is that the apartment is not soundproof; it’s in a complex where you can consistently hear other residents in their living spaces and showers. It was not a huge problem for us, but it was unexpected. Generally, the apartment was perfect, and I was very impressed by how clean and well-prepared it was. The shower was very hot and all cooking necessities were provided. Right behind the apartment is a beautiful trail through farmland up to the mountains. We suggest this home for people coming to explore the Sacred Valley. It is VERY easy to get to and from Urubamba and every town in the Sacred Valley. We would definitely stay here again! Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und haben die Zeit in der Unterkunft sehr genossen. Am liebsten wären wir noch länger geblieben. Worauf man sich einstellen muss: nachts ist es doch schon ziemlich kalt (trotz mobilen Heizkörper).

This house is stunning! The inside and the outside even better! We had a great relaxing time and enjoy the outdoors area (especially traveling with a small kid). The location is super quiet and private but the access kinda tricky! Be prepare for a very narrow and uneven road. I think it would be important to mention that the house comes with a house keeper person who needs to be pay daily out of your reservation, and that is not optional. We loved to have help in the house, but raised up our budget, for sure. Other than that Bruno, Daysi and then Flora are great! And you are going to love to stay in here :)

Logement impeccable et très bien situé dans une rue calme du centre mais éloigné du brouhaha des bus de touristes de la place principale. Hôte amical, réactif et arrangeant, tout était parfait ! Nous avons également dîné dans leur restaurant que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Je recommande vivement.
