Vacation rentals with beach access in Mahahual

I stayed at Perla's place in Mahahual for 3 nights and it was perfect for me. It is located on the main street where you can find all the restaurants, stores, pharmacies, etc. It is not even 1 block away from the malecón (boardwalk along the beach). You just cross the street and walk through a little laneway and you're at the beach. It's also a short walk to get the colectivo to Bacalar or Chetumal. You can't beat the location. The place was clean. Perla provided 2 towels and 2 beach towels, and left a couple of apples and a pineapple for me. The AC, wifi and shower all worked well. There was a fridge and microwave should you want to use them, though I didn't. And the bed was huge (king size). The place doesn't have bells and whistles but is perfect for what I needed and was exactly like the photos and description. Note: As other reviews mentioned it's on the main street so you do hear traffic go by, though with the AC on and earplugs in, I slept perfectly well.

Las fotos no alcanzan a describir lo maravilloso del lugar. La vista desde la terraza es otro nivel de belleza. Nos tocó luna llena y no se imaginan esa vista y el amanecer impresionante. Great place to stay, right across the malecon from the beach. Staff was great and friendly, very accommodating. Watch out for Dave. The apartment could use some kitchen supplies, cups etc. It’s on the second floor and the steps are difficult. We had a wonderful 10 day stay and will be back. Mahahual is a beautiful small town on a beautiful beach with great food and warm, friendly residents!

Agradeço ao Christi pela atenção e rápida resposta às nossas mensagens. O apartamento é ótimo, estava limpo, mas os armários tinham cheiro de mofo e a sacada tinha alguns entulhos. O apartamento não tem microondas (e isso estava claro no anuncio), mas recomendo incluir no apartamento. A praia é linda, mas invadida pelos turistas que chegam nos navios, é preciso levar isso em conta, é dificil usar as praias próximas ao apartamento se não estiver em um club e pagar para usar as cadeiras. Não há mercados bons por perto.

El depa es muy comodo, la vista a toda hora es increible, la playa tiene arrecife, pescaditos y es muy linda, para nadar tendras que ir a otra playa pero vale la pena la vista. Lo único es que revisen los olores del drenaje.

Un lugar muy bonito, amplio y cómodo, se disfruta la estancia para descansar, el hotel es nuevo y esta muy bien, excelente atención y servicio del personal, la comida en el restaurante muy deliciosa y buenas porciones, totalmente recomendado, todo cerca... Sin duda cuando regrese me volveré a quedar ahí. Gracias por todo.

Great location close to shopping and restaurants. Very secure and safe. Met many nice people and our dog also made new friends!

Great place, everything works, water is hot, kitchen has all appliances, cool patio with second kitchen for outside cooking, comfortable beds with 3-layer bed sheets for sanitary purpose, AC in all rooms and so on. We had a great stay, in this cozy and nice place. Fernando is super helpfull at anytime and Mahahual is really smart place for family vacation.

Maravillosa estancia. La casa es muy amplia y tiene acceso directo a la playa. Estuvimos felices ahí con nuestros hijos y nuestros perros

Lugar perfecto para descansar. No tuve señal pero el internet funcionó perfecto. Este espacio está alejado del pueblo, recuerda comprar snacks antes de llegar. Muy tranquilo y María muy atenta, gracias por una estancia increíble 🤍

He visitado Mahahual muchas veces durante 10 años y este es sin duda el mejor lugar en el que me he quedado. Tiene todo lo que ofrece y mas. Sin duda me quedaré ahí en mi siguiente viaje. Gracias a los anfitriones por su hospitalidad.

La casa es tal cual está publicada, instalaciones limpias y muebles en perfecto estado, Julieta es muy buena anfitriona siempre está al pendiente y responde rápido...

This place was paradise! Not only is it beautiful and exactly as described. It was even better. The amazing family across the road absolutely made the trip perfect. They made us so many incredible meals!!! So polite and so kind. They tuned us in to real Mexican food. And lots of it!! We had an amazing time on the beach. The rooms have ac and super comfortable. Road was slow and bumpy, but that only added to our adventure!! Thank you 🩷🩷🩷
