Beachfront vacation rentals in Malibu Lagoon State Beach

A great place to gather the family both near and far for Christmas. Very easy to get to some great beaches, restaurants, the Malibu Pier and Adamson house, canyon hike.

Location right in the middle of everything. Easily walkable to shops and restaurants. A minute to the boards and beach. Nice to have an off street parking spot.

This property lived up to everything promised and more. It was clean (and I am picky!), well located, and easy to access by following the detailed instructions. Our guests, as well as ourselves, were comfortable with the beds and furnishings. The kitchen was well stocked and the towels, linens, and little extras were all appreciated. All of us that stayed had no problem with the stairs. If anyone planning to visit has mobility issues, you might want to look elsewhere, but that is the ONLY reason not to book a stay at this wonderful Air B&B. Also, nearby parking was not in issue for our guest who parked nearby on a clearly marked public street (not in the alley behind the property). Thanks Clifton!

We absolutely loved our stay at Margaret’s place! The location is perfect…2 blocks to Main Street and 2 blocks to the beach. Very easy to get in, and we loved having a garage parking spot for our car. We used the bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach towels, which made for a lovely stay near the beach. We would definitely recommend this place, and will hopefully be back in the future!!

This was a perfect place for us - well-equipped, comfortable, and convenient to every place and everything we needed. Alain was extremely responsive to questions and provided many helpful suggestions, which were also much appreciated. Alain made us feel very welcome. We would highly recommend this listing to anyone who wants to be near a beach, walk to get coffee and pastries, and have a quiet place to stay with friends or family.

We very much enjoyed the clean house and quiet neighborhood at Greg’s. It was located near our conference and close to restaurants and shops so we could walk everywhere. Thank you!

Donald's apartment was an excellent home-away-from-home for our six-week stay in LA (helping with new babies). The beds and other furniture were very comfortable and everything worked properly; my husband and I were really able to settle in to the space. Donald was promptly responsive to a couple of minor things that needed attention. The heat worked well (we were there in December/January) and the windows were tight (we evacuated for a few days during the fires, and there was no trace of invasive dust or ash when we returned). The dedicated garage parking space was a definite plus! We enjoyed walking on the Venice Boardwalk and exploring the Venice Canals area, and some local restaurants and shops in the neighborhood that Donald recommended. We would definitely go back to 28 S. Venice Blvd!

Morgan's House is a fantastic place to stay—just steps away from the beach, which made our trip so convenient and relaxing. We stayed for a few days and had more than enough amenities to keep us comfortable the entire time. The home is well-stocked, clean, and thoughtfully set up for guests. The owner is also very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Overall a great place to stay in Malibu. Ideal location on the beach with its own private entrance. The house was complete furnished as described. If you plan to airbnb keep in mind that this place uses a septic tank. If you are not used to the smell of the septic tank it may throw you off. It wasn't a nasty smell but a unique odors that we needed to address occasionally with candles and airing out the unit.

Unfortunately didn’t get to stay in this exact Airbnb due to a maintenance issue. But Larry did everything he could do to make sure I had appropriate accommodation, was easy to communicate with, and even still gave me access to the sauna and rooftop pool. Thanks for helping me have a great trip Larry!

Anna was a great host—very responsive and attentive. Her home was spotless and a fantastic deal for the location! Easy, walkable access to the whole property. Will definitely return!

Yese was a very responsive and helpful host. The building is huge but very quiet and we hardly saw anyone in the hallway. The apartment was very clean. Safe and convenient location for a mother and teen traveling - easy access to the local freeway, Ralph Supermarket and Starbucks were a 5 min walk away. The parking lot was a bit of a maze but once you drive through once or twice, you know where to go and which elevators to take. The only con is the pillows! The mattress was very comfortable but the pillows need to be updated/upgraded. Overall, a great stay.

This was one of the most beautiful locations I have stayed at! I am an avid traveler and advisor, so I have stayed MANY places. This was my first visit to Malibu specifically, and Bill and his space were nothing short of amazing. You can hear the waves from anywhere in the home, and it is so peaceful. All of the linens and towels were cleaned, with ample amounts of extra pieces! There was also MULTIPLE different kinds of shampoos and conditioners that were provided, plus small things you may not think about such as cotton balls and Bobby pins. The kitchen has all condiments and every utensil you may need to cook! We felt safe and secure, and the neighbors were also so kind and lovely. The secured parking structure and entrance was helpful and the shared pool and hot tub were a great addition. This is a 10/10, and in walking distance to Nobu and other popular restaurants! If you are thinking of booking here, do not hesitate!

I would go back again and again! I was lucky to get the dates and times it presented and I took it! So glad I did! The waves cleared my mind and the sunset was beautiful. The beach walk was so peaceful and I felt like it was just my personal ocean (hardly no one in sight). Thank you Amber for allowing me the opportunity to stay in this castle! I will be back!

Can’t beat this amazing beach front location in Belmont Shore. The views from the living room, master bedroom and back patio will leave you mesmerized and make it hard to leave the home. Luckily the neighborhood is so quaint with walking paths on both sides of the peninsula that you will want to enjoy a morning stroll, if not a run on the beach. The house is so roomy that we could comfortably fit our extended family without anyone tripping over each other. The hosts were extremely responsive and provided detailed information to make sure we immediately felt at home. We highly recommend this beautiful home!

Shirley's Long Beach house was truly one of the best Airbnb experiences I've ever had! Location wise, you are only a few minutes from down town Long Beach and some great dining options, but you are also directly across the street from one of Long Beach's great public parks and you can get from the kitchen to the beach before your coffee even has time to cool off. There is a bit of traffic right outside the front door, but there was no honking and little revving when we were visiting. As for the amenities, they did a fantastic job of stocking the rooms with plenty of towels and any consumables you may need, including laundry detergent and coffee. They also provided some free waters and cookies which was very kind. The sheets and bed are the only areas that could use some improvement. The sheets were rather scratchy and the comforter was very warm for a room with limited air flow, but they were clean and pressed, so I can't complain too much. I can't recommend this place enough!!!

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was very comfortable and perfect for our stay. TV options were great for relaxing at night. Mark was very helpful and responded very rapidly to any questions we had. having a designated parking spot was amazing. would definitely stay again.

The house was such an amazing location. Loved the direct beach access, easy to walk to many great restaurants and shops. Emily was so clear with all instructions, including that the house does sit on a public walkway so we knew exactly what to expect. She even let us know that one of our main activities we were visiting for was really not close to her house, appreciate all the upfront information. Felt it was a great value for what we paid, already looking to book again.

This is easily the favorite Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Only reason I contemplated leaving a review, is because I don’t want others to fill the slots 😂😂 Will definitely be back soon. Thank you to the hosts!

This was our first air bnb experience , and it was amazing ! So flexible, wonderful experience, great amenities. We were able to check in a few hours earlier, and everything was clean and exactly like the photos. Will be returning for sure! :) thank you!
