Located in a quiet cul de sac, just a short walking distance to the lake. A two story home with a large open area upstairs offering a sofa, one queen and one double bed. Downstairs, there are two double bedrooms, with queen beds and a smaller bedroom with a double bed. A modern kitchen, dinning and lounge with ranch sliders onto the deck. A separate shower, toilet, hand basin/vanity and laundry. Lovely decks, outdoor furniture, BBQ and large pizza oven/outdoor fireplace. Fenced x 3 sides.

Suitable for a maximum of two adults, you'll find a well-equipped kitchen, 2 comfy queen beds, bose speaker, sun-drenched deck, coffee machine and a roaring fire each evening. Off-street parking for 2 vehicles. Rear entrance is covered so you and your gear remain dry.

Room is attached to garage where laundry facilities (washer/dryer machine - all in one) are available, ranch slider with own deck which captures lovely afternoon/evening sun.

The Pink House

This lovely small cottage originally came into my family as a retirment home for my (then) 90 year old mother, Olive. She loved the place except for its original colour and so promptly painted it Pink. The house has many of her touches still in it, such as the cross stitch pictures framed on the walls. Nana Olive was well known through Tokoroa for her hospitality and warm welcome she offered at the Pink House, and we are delighted to continue this tradition.

Great location, great shower, great beds!

I’m so happy to be able to share my wonderful home with others and supplement my pension 😀 The AirBnb rooms are separate from my part of the home. There’s 2 rooms and a bathroom. The bedroom has a queen double bed. The lounge has a king double bed and couch with a tv, a microwave, toaster, jug and fridge. It is quite roomy 6x4 mtrs. There is a small step up to the shower so take care coming out of it. You will enjoy beautiful Taupo. 😎

Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Washing machine, hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided.
