Cottage by the dike in Balje region

Immerse yourself in the timeless retro charm of our vacation home on the dike in Balje. The rural life, the expanses of the outer dyke as well as the large garden, in which fruit trees can also be found, invite you to slow down. From the upper floor you can look at the Elbe with its shipping traffic to and from Hamburg. Nestled between Cuxhaven and Stade, many small towns offer beautiful routes and opportunities for shopping and lingering, also for cyclists and motorcyclists.

The apartment is completely made of "wood," equipped with its own unique furniture and rustically "rebuilt," but still has everything "modern" you need... Experience a nice time in the countryside. The farm is in an idyllic secluded location and is child-friendly. Enjoy the time to relax in nature, barbecue in the garden, walk, cycle, visit our petting zoo (alpacas = no petting animals) or go on excursions in the area. On the North Sea (6 km) you can swim, surf and mudflat hike. The garden invites you to linger with its various seating options. (The apartment is managed by my mother Richarda)

The scenic surroundings in and around Kellinghusen offers many possibilities for outdoor activities, e.g. for canoe tours and excursions by bike. The outdoor swimming pool of Kellinghusen is right near. The train station from Wrist with train connections to Hamburg, Kiel, Neumünster, Pinneberg and Elmshorn is only 5 km away.

"Blockhütte" Quellental in wonderful surroundings

Welcome to our little log cabin! The accommodation is part of our Quellental forest estate in Odderade, Dithmarschen district and is located in the middle of a forest clearing, nestled in a picturesque pond area. Our forestry operation is part of the largest forest area on the North Sea coast, the Riesewohld. Here, 700 hectares of partly uncultivated, natural forest invite you to linger and explore.
