Vacation rentals in Matala beach

Amazing scenery. Great location, short trip to Chania, Rethymno, and the south coast. A clean apartment with a real Greek vibe. The birds crowed and the rooster crowed. I'm sure we'll come back.

The villa is very quiet and somewhat secluded in the olive mountains with a fantastic view. The distance to the sea is about 8 km. A house that can't be made more perfect. So lovingly furnished and actually really everything you need to spend a great vacation. We stayed in the house for 10 days. It has been cleaned several times. The house was almost perfect for us. We were able to work and had peace and if we wanted to shop something, a few kilometers away was a wonderful little place with great restaurants and shopping. Two personal tips: we booked a golf smiling class near Chania through Airbnb. This was really a highlight during our vacation. You should also check out the Green oasis Argiroupolis Springs. We then ate at the very top of the restaurant in the tavern Kastro. A family restaurant run by a wonderful Anna as a host.

Stella's place was a lovely stay! With mountain views and the beach 5 minutes away, it was a peaceful and scenic stay. The space was clean and comfortable and Stella was so communicative! It was so convenient that she lived nearby as she was able to address any issues very quickly. A quick walk to Analipsi which is an adorable little town with markets and restaurants (definitely more things open during the on season, but still charming). Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Beautiful villa in nice resort

Very nice place for large groups. We were a group of 20 people and could easily fit in the main building and the rooms in the secondary building close by. Nice pool area and bbq. WiFi was a bit of an issue. We could only connect outdoors (not possible in most rooms).

Its a great place we were there with 5 People, everyone enjoyed it. The host even brought more barhrobes and blankets after we said we needed more. Only thing what I didnt liked was that there were a lot of Construction around in the village and nearby of the Vills whats kinda „shit“ is but the villa looks very good and well made. Only problem what we had was that we needed to turn on the warm water every time we needed kt because we had no sun. And also I think its normal in greek but I think there is very much chlorine in the tap water so that you can smell and taste it. So if you want to cook you need Water bottles from the Supermarket. But all in all.. the host did everything Perfect somethings arent in his controlls but there are fine Overand all i would rate it Five Stars out od Five * if you want to est good maybe search the „Alchemist“ at the beach its a good place for seafood and grilled meat and the desserts are of the charts!

For us, Ioanni's house was an idyll and the most beautiful place we had in Crete. An Airbnb gem! In the olive grove, so close to the sea, the clocks tick differently. Now in spring it all bloomed, it was beautiful! The apartment is very cozy and tastefully decorated, bright and open. The balcony out the front is much bigger than the photos show. Ioannis was very reliable, quick to respond and gave us great tips for the area. If you are still considering booking, do it as long as you have the opportunity to do so!!! Absolutely recommended!

The dog and cat were cute and friendly!

We had a wonderful 5-day vacation at the villa. The property was stunning! It was tastefully designed, offering full privacy, and was super clean. We used the brick oven to make pizza and also enjoyed the pool. Everything was just as it looked in the pictures, and the villa was equipped with everything we needed. Pandelis, the owner, was very responsive to all of our requests and questions. I highly recommend this place!
