Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Matera

This was such a luxury. This cave house was just as described. It was the best shower, the best sleep, the best comfort I have had in my long tour of Italy. Daniella, the host, was so responsive and accomodating, making sure we had everything we needed. I'd recommend this space to anyone I know. If we are fortunate enough to visit this magical city again, this is the home I would choose.

Wij werden ontvangen door Eliane en hadden tijdens ons hele verblijf goed contact met haar. Grottole is een bijzonder dorp, dat meer toeristen en bewoners verdient! Wij komen daar graag een keer terug.

Luciana est une hôte très amicale, dynamique et accueillante. Elle vous donnera des conseils et fera en sorte que vous ne manquiez de rien. La maison est immense et on se sent comme chez soi. Le toit terrasse est superbe. Nous avons apprécié ce séjour sur tous les points mais il vous faudra une voiture pour visiter les Pouilles, c'est indispensable car c'est une grande région. Eine wunderschöne, einfache kleine Wohnung, die mit viel Charme und Stil liebevoll eingerichtet wurde. Die Kommunikation mit Paola war immer gut und freundlich. Die Lage, in einer ruhigen Gasse direkt neben dem Dom war besonders schön und gerne habe ich abends mit einem Wein und ein paar Oliven auf dem Treppchen vor der Haustür gesessen und den Blick auf den nächtlichen Dom genossen. Gerne habe ich nachts auch nochmal den 30 Meter entfernten Domplatz aufgesucht, der einem dann fast allein gehört, und den Blick über die angeleuchteten Sassi genossen. Einzig ein Wäscheständer, den man auch mal bei Sonne und etwas Wind vor die Tür stellen könnte, habe ich vermisst, denn auf der durch den Raum gespannten Schnur trocknete die Wäsche nur sehr langsam. Aber dies ist nur ein kleiner Nebenaspekt - der Aufenthalt war absolut wunderbar und ich würde jederzeit wieder dort wohnen, wenn es mich nochmal nach Matera verschlagen sollte. Danke, Paola!

Giovanna's place is in a fantastic location in easy walking of all of the major sights and the parking station. It has plenty of room for the two people and is close to restaurants and shops. Check in and out was straightforward. The apartment is very interesting as well as practical.

Me encantó quedarme en este alojamiento. El lugar está decorado y tiene muebles increíbles (me encanta el ambiente que dan todas las lamparas), denota que se han cuidado los detalles. Patrizia me indicó perfectamente como llegar y aunque hay que bajar unas escaleras, pronto te das cuenta que son pocas para el estándar de Matera. La vista que tiene es inigualable y la facilidad con la que puedes llegar a los diferentes puntos de la ciudad histórica me facilito conocer a fondo Matera. Había muchas cosas para poder desayunar o tener un snack, algo que se aprecia mucho. El espacio de Patrizia aportó en gran medida a lo mucho que disfruté Matera

If we could leave a 10* review - we would! Do not hesitate to book Francesco’s place! He was so accommodating as we were not sure of our arrival time (we came in by bus from Salerno). He waited to greet us to explain everything! He had the lights on and candles lit so when we walked in- WOW! Soooo MAGICAL! The location is just perfect and for our two dinner meals - we ate at restaurants within steps from “our Sassi” (he recommended!!) -We would have loved to stay longer, however, our travel schedule wouldn’t allow it) You must take advantage of the Relaxation Room… it was heavenly taking a bath at night with the candles lit. Book before you miss out!!

La casa è molto bella, pulita e dotata di tutto il necessario. Noi eravamo in due famiglie e siamo stati molto comodi nella villetta a schiera. Ogni stanza ha le zanzariere, e il condizionatore, lo spazio esterno è attrezzato con tavolo e poltroncine per cene o colazioni. Il villaggio ha una piscina in comune e un campo da tennis.

Bellissima villetta immersa nel verde ed a pochissimi passi dalla spiaggia, in un villaggio recintato e sorvegliato, gode di ottimi spazi esterni attrezzati e fruibili tutto l'anno. Ci siamo stati per le vacanze pasquali ed il ponte con il 25 aprile ed abbiamo trovato la posizione ottima anche per visitare Taranto, Alberobello, Matera, Metaponto. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo anche perché l'host Nicola è molto disponibile e ci ha fatto trovare la villa davvero fornita di tutto: dal caffè al carbone per il barbecue esterno. Non si poteva chiedere di meglio per una famiglia di 4 persone con bambine al seguito.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli malgré notre arrivée tardive. La maison est spacieuse et confortable. Nous avons grandement apprécié le jardin et la piscine. La maison était très propre, située à proximité de nombreux lieux à visiter. Merci pour le superbe panier d'accueil. Valeria a répondu très rapidement à tous nos messages.

It's a perfect place to stay for big group. Large kitchen, dining area and living hall. Giovanni had been a great host. Prepare breakfast every morning and responsive host. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Matera & Alberobello area.

Schöne und ruhige Unterkunft in guter Lage, von der aus man viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in unter 1 Stunde erreichen kann. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Kommunikation war hervorragend und es wurde auf alle Fragen und Wünsche eingegangen.

a magnificent historic property fully modernized. immediate parking. perfectly centered and walkable everywhere, pharmacy, dentist, city hall and of course the Patisseries and fabulous restaurants. Fabi is a gracious and responsive host. I'll be back for certain.

Sans hésiter, le logement de Piervito est le meilleur logement airbnb que nous ayons fait ! Un superbe "palazzo" des années 1920, magnifique, très grand avec une superbe terrasse ! Je recommande à 100% ce logement qui vous fera d'autant plus apprécier la belle région des Pouilles ! 🤩

Masseria molto carina e frigo pieno di generi alimentari prodotti alcuni da loro. Appartamentino fornitissimo (macchinetta da caffè, doccia schiuma di qualità, frutta, uova delle loro galline, caffè, olio, sale, prodotti per la pulizia dei piatti, biscottini, taralli,....). Ottimo il suggerimento della spiaggia libera. Un incanto!

The house has a great location with amazing views from the balcony, making it perfect for staying a few more nights to fully experience the surroundings. Although we only stayed for one day due to our pre-arranged travel itinerary, we genuinely wished we could have extended our stay for several more days.

Noys avons passé u e nuit chez Imma. Le logelent est spacieux et idéalement situé. La procedure d'arrivée autonome est claire et la place de parking essentielle dans ce quartier très touristique. Je recommande

Linda's place was amazing - it has the most 'personality' of any Air B&B that I have stayed in. As soon as we sent our friends some photos - they were all saying "wow"... I really appreciated Linda giving me some handy hints on where to park our hire car and was glad when she helped me work out how to get her to her place. The mistake we made was relying on the maps link which was not accurate. I know understand that Maps are hard to use in places that are as steep as Matera. Matera was so quiet just before Christmas that we were concerned that nothing was open for dinner. This was our mistake - once 7:30/ 8pm hit, there were many amazing places to eat at. We have recommended Linda's place to some of our friends who now kow about Matera as it is not a usual place on the tourist map for a lot of Aussies doing their whirlwind trips to the other side of the world!

Le logement est très agréable. Nous avons visité la région des Pouilles avec grand plaisir en partant tous les matins de Laterza ou se trouve le logement. Nous avions grand plaisir le soir de vivre au cœur de cette ville , dynamique, accueillante, festive avec de nombreux restaurants et de fabuleux glaciers. Nous gardons cette adresse au cas où ! Merci
