Beachfront vacation rentals in Mayagüez

You’ve found the bnb you were looking for! The host, the location, the view, the fish when snorkeling, the AC, the layout.. we can’t wait to come back!! I've stayed at around 25 Airbnbs and some of them on beachfronts, and this by far, takes the cake! Literally, Bill intrepidly searched the island for a vegan(!) chocolate cake through his network for my wife’s birthday during our stay. I’ve NEVER seem a host go so above and beyond like this. He made her birthday so special during our stay!! We’ve had issues with other hosts taking our chemical allergies to fabric softeners and air fresheners, but not Bill! He went out of his way to order special detergent and make sure that the linens we cleaned to be fragrance free. Our 11 year old LOVED feeding the tarpons with Bill from the deck and then we even snorkeled with them in the last morning! Speaking of which, this was great for morning snorkeling (all manner of sea life!) Bill is truly a Superhost!!

Words can not express how much we enjoyed our stay at Luis’s beach house. While the indoor seating and sleeping arrangements may be a little small, it was perfect for our tight-knit family and we didn’t come to this gorgeous island to sit inside anyway! The covered seating/dining area overlooking the back deck and the sea was the best place on earth to sit and relax. The location directly on the beach could not have been better; we loved walking on the basically empty beach and exploring. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a lot of our own meals so we could keep enjoying the home and the beach, but also make sure to try some great local restaurants. We definitely hope to be back!

Beautiful location, though the walk to the beach is a little more than advertised. Home sits atop a mountain overlooking the beach. The view was worth it anyways, I would recommend.

Beautiful place with a private beach. Perfect for our anniversary get away. People around were all very friendly and it was a great central location to visit places North and South. We would recommend to anyone visiting that side of the island.

Great location with plenty of fun things to do nearby. Condo was very nice and comfortable.

Mark was a great communicator and very responsive to our messages. House had everything we needed and an amazing view. Relaxing to the ocean waves was a perfect way to spend our time there. Great area with some really good restaurants within walking distance at the top of the hill. Would definitely stay there again, and recommend to others!

What more could you want than this view and this gorgeous beach all to yourself most mornings and evenings! Sleeping with the sound of the waves… this was a great space for our family, for the kids to swim, for meals in the kitchen and coffee on the balcony. We would love to come back again. Thanks for the hospitality!

Lovely location (a quick walk to the beach), fully equipped kitchen, and family friendly. The beaches and sunsets in the area were amazing. Our family loved spending time there and hope to come back very soon!!

We spent two weeks in Puerto Rico at Casa Birdsong. It is a beautiful, well-equipped, beachfront accommodation where we immediately felt at home. The beach is only 20-30 metres away, but there is a road in between which has a Caribbean flair at weekends: "cars driving up and down with lots of music". The accommodation is perfect for 4 people with a spacious dining and living room with kitchen. The large private pool is a dream - especially when the sea outside is a bit rough. The owners Mary & Jim are on site, very friendly, kind and extremely helpful. We were given lots of information about handy shopping facilities, good places to eat and interesting places to visit. Definitely a recommendation.

Great location and host!

What an amazing sunset views and great recommendations of restaurants and things to do around Rincon by the host. Will definitely plan to come back here. The host was very accommodating for a late checkout when my wife was not feeling well.

Family of 4 fit perfectly. The pool and beach were a dream. Our sun was able to boogie board at the beach which thrilled him. We had a beautiful breeze throughout the house. Would love to stay again!

Freddie was very easy to work with! The house was exactly as pictured, everything was labeled making it a breeze. From the first minute we walked in, we felt at home. The location was perfect with the beach and restaurants within a minutes walk. We will happily stay at this home again and are already talking about a trip with our adult children.

Place is great. Quite. close to everything. and nice swimming beach in the back walking distance! so much better than beating thr crowds at the famous beaches! awesome place!

Fantastic location, next to some of the best beaches! Really enjoyed the balcony, with lots of shade, and a great view. And the hammock, of course! Playa Buye is a 5min drive, or less than 30 min hike along the beach. Great location to explore other areas as well. For those not afraid of the woods, highly recommend hiking Charco El Pilon. Pargueras Bay is close, as are many other nice places. Would love to come back!

My daughter and I stayed at Rithy's beautiful spot this past week and it was just fantastic. The spot is not only absolutely beautiful, but so serene and healing. The apartment was exactly as described, perfectly appointed, and very clean. The location was perfect -- just a short drive to downtown and public places, but enough out of the way to be quiet and peaceful. Rithy was on hand during our stay and was so kind and attentive, provided us with great information, and was very generous. I would highly recommend this special place and I plan on coming back again!

The condo was beautifully decorated with amazing views from the balcony. The beach was pristine and almost private, with very few other people that passed us on our walks. The surf is always crashing on the shore making soothing sounds to relax too. Our host Michael was around doing work on other properties. He was very nice and helpful to give us recommendations or answer any questions.

Well beyond expectations. Casa De Playa is an amazing value. Right on the sea- you fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves every day. The waves are right up to the house at high tide and their sound helped my husband with his tinnitus immensely . Doors and windows were easy to use and allow amazing views and breezes! The house was clean and comfortable on a quiet street. The kitchen had everything we needed. We felt immediately at home!

My stay was absolutely amazing! I arrived at night, and when I woke up and opened my eyes in the morning, the view completely took my breath away. The apartment was super comfortable and fully equipped with everything we needed — every little detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The beach was just perfect — the best spot to walk, relax, and completely disconnect. It was quiet, peaceful, and felt like our own little slice of paradise. The host was outstanding, sending us personalized recommendations and all the information we needed to make our stay truly spectacular. It was one of those experiences where everything exceeded expectations. Can’t wait to come back!

Simply put, Carlos's property was fantastic! It's a beautiful house, tastefully furnished and very well-equipped. The entire house was incredibly clean. There were plenty of high-quality beds, bedding, and linen. The beach, just steps away, was also wonderful. Carlos was very responsive to our requests and overall, a very gracious host. My family loved this spot. It was perfect for two kids and a couple. My sons adored the deck and the stairs into the water. Elizabeth made sure we were comfortable and that we had everything we needed. This is a great spot to recharge your batteries and launch your beach adventures. The beds are unusually comfortable for an Airbnb and we were able to cook meals in the kitchen, which even had sharp knives.
