Quality would be a perfect one word description of this accommodation and the hosts. Everything in the house is great quality and there is everything you need. David met us and showed us everything we needed and made us feel very relaxed about bringing our dog with. All the facilities are first class and you just feel at home as soon as you arrive. Will definitely look to stay here next time we visit Whitianga as not only is it amazing it’s a great place to base yourself to explore the rest of the Coramandel peninsula.

Vicky’s place was great! Perfect for the 4 of us, located right near the Whangamata high street and a great view over the town and of the hills in the distance. The lounge was comfortable to relax in, the balcony got a lot of sun and the flat had all the amenities you could want. The instructions for finding the building, getting in and where to park, etc. were very clear and Vicky was incredibly helpful and responsive to messages. Would definitely stay again

This was our second time staying here, and once again, we absolutely loved it! It's the perfect place to disconnect from the hustle and reconnect with nature. Peaceful, cozy, and surrounded by beauty—every moment feels like a breath of fresh air. It's also a great base to explore the stunning Karangahake Gorge and charming Waihi. The host is simply the best—welcoming, thoughtful, and always makes us feel right at home. We'll definitely be back again!

We stayed with Angela and Dean in their fantastic Quail Cottage. We would have loved to stay longer than our planned 2 nights but unfortunately that was not possible. Angela and Dean are the sweetest people and exactly as we dreamed the Kiwis would be. Incredibly helpful, sweet friendly, open and not least warm-hearted. Quail Cottage is also a beauty in itself. Quality construction that is beautifully decorated with the most beautiful details. Everything is well thought out and we would love to come back. Thank you for a fantastic stay :-)

Our stay at Lynley’s place was absolutely incredible. The entire space was absolutely spotless and well stocked for a comfortable stay. We were able to make ourselves comfortable while on our travels with the beautiful outdoor space, spacious kitchen and living spaces. Sitting in the backyard you feel at peace in a beautifully decorated and private space. There are also great amenities, clean and functional kitchen and bathroom. There is plenty to go and see in the area and a great local town in Thames for shopping and food so it is a great central location for your travels. The hosts were super friendly and made sure our stay was perfect. We cannot recommend Lynley’s place enough, it is a beautiful place which you will find yourself wanting to visit again!

It's hard to put into words how beautiful this location is... breathtaking doesn't do it justice. From check in to check out everything was smooth and friendly. The views are stunning. Short drive to Coromandel village and all the hikes. Bed is crazy comfortable. Explore the property, orchard, garden... it's amazing. Host was so polite they tried to take the blame for rain! Washer/dryer is a game changer after a day of beach and hiking. I arrived a 3/10 on my personal battery and left 10/10. Thank you, if I'm welcome I will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Andy’s well located place right between Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach. Comfortable bed, fast wifi, and great recommendations provided by Andy. Church Bistro down the road is a delicious choice for dinner. Would happily stay here again.

Really lovely stay at Hahei Nice and close to coastline with great views in the distance. Easy to find and good parking, It was further enough away from other properties and the road for a secluded feeling, Lovely and clean, cosy and warm with a comfy bed. Outdoor bath was great as well Would definitely stay here again

We had a wonderful stay at Greg and Lyndas. The accommodation is just as described and as indicated in the photos - the bed was super comfy!! Easy walk to restaurants and shops in Tairua. We would definitely stay again if we are visiting the area again in the future.

Superb location with the most amazing views. Place was extremely clean, very spacious and had everything you could possibly require (great cutlery & crockery, glass wear and plenty of platters and serving bowls). Lovely big dining table, plenty seating inside and out. Easy access to the beach with a lovely long stretch of beachfront to walk all the way down to the lagoon and pier where you can fish. Pool was heated and hot tub available. Beds were extremely comfortable and plenty of storage space available. Highly recommend and already looking to see when I can come again.

We had a fabulous stay for the Beach Hop. The location is perfect for a super close walk to town and the views from the house are just beautiful with the beach just across the lawn. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. We had a hiccough with no loo paper to start with but that got sorted. Please note there is just one loo upstairs.

The accommodation and location exceeded our expectations. Robyn and Kara couldn’t have been more helpful. Salt restaurant is a must - as is the Mexican. We had wonderful walks - and a great pint of Guiness in the pub at the end of it. We would absolutely recommend.

We loved our staying at Faye’s place in Whangamata. It was sparkling clean and well appointed, and the location is amazing - just a tiny walk to the amazing beach with beautiful sea views from the living room and balcony. Faye was so friendly with her communication and was extremely understanding when we interrupted her Friday evening by accidentally locking ourselves out 🫣 (thanks again!!). I would high recommend a stay here and would love to visit again. All the best Faye.
