Our families stay in Mindo was wonderful! Luz and her family were very helpful with check-in and instructions even though our Spanish was limited. The place was cozy and very clean. We were within walking distance of town with great restaurants and shops. The gardens around the house were beautiful and they even have hummingbird feeders and a place where they put fruit for the birds. It was magical to watch the birds while drinking delicious Ecuadorian coffee. We would recommend this place to others!

The hosts were very kind and responsive. The cabin was very nice and had all the amenities we needed for our long weekend.

We have stayed at Juan Diegos' cabin twice. The reseve is remote, beautiful and peaceful. Birds, frogs, horses and other wildlife makes you feel like you are part of the nature. One of the walking trails takes you to the river and a picturesque biopool that is literally located in the middle of a pasture and fed by rainwater. It is the most unique pool that we have ever seen. The dining area has a large terrace with a view of mountains and an elevated view over the river. This terrace is a perfect place for flexing and yoga or just having a romantic moment. The breakfast is delicious and healthy and the hosts are very responsive and friendly. The arcitecure and design of the cabin are unique and stylish. Everything is done with meticulos attention to detail. You can cook your own food if you wish, which we did for some meals. The kitchen has what is needed for most simple dishes. We also loved the jaccuzi which worked as promised. Great both with or without kids.

Atendeu à expectativa. Uma cabana confortável em meio à natureza e a curta distancia do centro. Silencio, muitos pássaros, ar puro, jardim bem cuidado. Lugar ideal para um repouso bem merecido. A anfitriã foi extremamente cortês e atenciosa, não nos faltou nada.

We enjoyed our stay at Ushaloma. It was an incredibly sight! We planned to stay there a night and then go on an early hike but then cancelled the hike in order to enjoy the view. We highly recommend the place. We also recommend that you bring the food you want for the night and breakfast there because once you are there, you’re going to want to stay and enjoy the view and not go back down till the next day. Absolutely stunning house and view. Friendly people who showed us everything we needed to know. One helpful hint: Google maps will direct you through a muddy road that is impossible to get up. Make sure you are taking Via a Lagunas Mojanda because it is paved. We took this road up without a 4x4 and no problem. Steep but manageable.

El sitio perfecto para un fin de semana en pareja. La casa es acogedora, impecable y muy tranquila. Como recomendación, si tienen la opción, vayan en un vehículo alto: yo llegué en un automovil bajo y, aunque sí pude llegar, las calles son irregulares y hay que avanzar con cuidado y despacio.

Un lugar mágico en medio de la naturaleza. El glamping está rodeado de plantas, con un sendero hermoso que lleva a una cascada. En la noche vimos una danza de luciérnagas que parecía sacada de un cuento. El lugar es precioso, cómodo y el servicio fue súper amable. Me fui con el corazón lleno.
