Vacation rentals with a firepit in Montgomery County

We had an amazing stay at this home! Sherry has thought of everything. A fully stocked kitchen with all the essentials, plenty of towels, coffee, creamer, spices, and even laundry and dish tabs. The secluded property is stunning, with a large yard where deer and wildlife graze in the mornings and evenings. The house is clean, beds are comfortable, and has an open floor plan perfect for groups. There’s plenty of entertainment: Wii, ping pong, toys for kids, cornhole, a fire pit, and porch chairs for relaxation. Conveniently, there’s a store two minutes away, the lake is five minutes, and Hot Springs is 30 minutes. The only small downside is one shower, but that’s minor compared to everything else this home offers!

This was way more than I expected. This home sits in the perfect location with a river view. The house is adorable and cozy and had every single thing we needed. We will def be back!

We enjoyed our weekend at a quiet and remote cottage. There was plenty of space surrounding the cottage. It felt private. The cottage felt and smelled new and it was very clean. The bed was comfortable.

This cabin was more than enough space for all 8 of our family members! The location was perfect for our family fishing trip and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint is we didn't stay long enough! The Host was very accommodating and communicative with us. We loved the layout and all the indoor/outdoor areas, everything was very clean. So happy we were able to bring our Goldendoodle with us. We hope we get to turn this into a yearly trip! Thank you!

Let me just say, this place is worth every penny. I absolutely loved it. Has everything you might need. The quartz mines are nearby so it wasn’t too much of a hassle getting back and forth. Beautiful inside and out!!

Me and 9 friends stayed at Lori’s for our friend’s birthday. We were so pleased with the space. The house was very large allowing everyone to sleep comfortably. The house was also very clean and comfortable. The back deck was our favorite part! We shared many laughs and enjoyed the incredible view.

Stayed here to do a mountain bike race and the location and accomodations were perfect for us. House was very clean and matched the description in the listing perfectly.

My family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teens) stayed at the house over Spring break and had plenty of space. The cabin was located perfect for our crystal digging adventures. After digging, we would come back and clean the crystals on the back porch watching the sun set. The hot tub was small, but it worked out. We rotated small groups at a time. The inside of the house was open and inviting. We could all be in the same space or retreat to our rooms if needed. It had everything that we needed, minus food, which helps when traveling.

You think you need 3 days away? You need 5 and you need them right here in this tranquil, deeply restorative, quaint, rustic cabin. This cabin is overflowing with unique touches and extreme hospitality, so many little decorative touches and treats we couldn't enjoy them all in our 3 day stay. Which brings me back to you MUST book 5 days minimum! LOL From the porch swing naps to the Hot Tub soaks, everything was in perfect order. We had a small problem with the hot plate and a replacement was immediately provided. Do you know how incredible that was? You are literally in the middle of NOWHERE and POOF, instant response. Incredible. We were already in love with this little place, but that kind of attention takes it to the next level. I can't recommend Fancy Hills highly enough. We hope to stay again and again and again.

This has got to be one of the top Airbnb that we had ever stayed at! Everything was nice and clean. Gated access so we always felt safe and secure. Master bed was comfortable. Kitchen was stocked. Nice wrap around balcony with amazing views. Fire pit was one of the highlights of our stay. Cabin was very warm and cozy. Right by the highway but we never really noticed as location was surrounded by trees. Very secluded and quick access to get down to the main road into town for dining. Close to mining areas and beautiful hiking trails. Was hoping to see some animals out in the back but as we were mostly gone from the cabin during the day, we might have missed the chance to. However, I did catch a quick glimpse of a small animal that could be a wildlife canine on the other side of the hill behind the cabin but it was almost too fast that I could not make out what it was. Did see a few squirrels. Would definitely love to stay here again!!

This Airbnb was more than expected. It was breathtaking, peaceful and very clean. We would oven to come back!

Great cabin .. the location is amazing nestled in the woods .. although it has two other cabins nearby but the way they are laid out gives a sense of seclusion.. the cabin itself is amazing .. the loft was a super hit with my kids.. the swing on the porch is perfect for lazing around.. the stream nearby is sparkling clean .. my kids spent half a day building rapids with rocks :-) Cory is a great host … he proactively sent us all the required information and was super responsive to my questions even past midnight Two drawbacks: the kitchen is good for warming food or very lite cooking .. has just a small portable hot plate Secondly the kitchen shares the sink with the bathroom which my wife could not get her head around :-) Overall great place and would definitely book again

It was delightful. The area was beautiful - so peaceful and quiet. The house was just as described. I wish I could stay again!!

Serene and just remote enough. It was exactly what I was looking for when searching for a pet-friendly getaway from the world. I appreciated the fully screened back porch to keep the mosquitos out while I sat on the futon listening to the night. Definitely recommend if you're wanting to get away from it all.

Peaceful, private and beautiful views - just what we were looking for. Rustic charm with so many wonderful personal touches! Walking up to this cabin was like taking a trip back in time to visiting my grandmother. It was a wonderful feeling of being at home. I can’t begin to tell you how much we enjoyed porches, porch swing and rocking chairs. The property was covered in blooms from flowering plants and trees. We explored river for hours each day. A perfect weekend getaway that we hope to enjoy again soon! I highly recommend the Shingle Mill Cabin and these sisters as hosts. You can tell they love this place, and we appreciate them sharing with us. We love it now as well.
