“We stayed at this amazing piece of property because we were in Mcauley to visit relatives. We will absolutely come back, just to stay in this quaint, cozy beautiful home even. We felt absolutely comfortable the minute we arrived. Our aunt nicknamed it our “Little House on the Prairie”. We even had guests over for supper one night-the right amount of cookware was already there I hand. Bravo!!!”
Our house was built in 1906 by two very interesting and important Manitobans, Dr. George Clingan and his wife, Ida Clingan. It is fully renovated with all the modern conveniences while maintaining the historic colonial charm. It is conveniently located in the heart of Virden, within short walking distance of shops, banks, post office restaurants and pubs.
“Absolutely spectacular. 6 stars out of 5. Suzanne was an exceptional host and breakfast was a wonderful appreciated feature. The home is beautiful, the room is comfortable and the amazing bathroom with claw-foot tub is also worth mention. A list of local restaurants and the wifi details are conveniently located in your room, which can be secured with a key from the outside or a slide lock from inside. You could not ask for better from an AirBnB stay.”

“Pamela’s cabin was perfect. Just the right size for the two of us and our dog. We stayed in November so spent most of our time enjoying the holiday movies and toasty fireplace, but did head out to explore some of the great trails nearby. It is located along the road to the campground which is not a through road in the winter, so that was nice not to have a lot of traffic. A short walk along there and through the campground had us in to a network of trails that Carter made sure to sniff all of! Pamela provided coffee and tea, there wasn’t anything in the kitchen that was missing for the meals we prepared, and soap, shampoo, body wash were all there, which is so nice not to have to pack. The cabin was cozy, clean, and very tastefully decorated. We would absolutely visit again.”
