Vacation rentals with a firepit in Morgan County

The property and house were absolutely gorgeous. Even with the rain we had a fabulous time and still used the hot tub. Was the perfect size for the 3 of us. Kitchen had everything we needed and the coffee bar was well stocked! Perfect location for OU’s mom’s weekend with my girls.

We had a wonderful stay and have nothing but good things to say. The drive to Hocking Hills State Park was an easy 20 minutes. There is a Walmart not too far away for forgotten items. The house itself was great. The kids loved sharing a bunk room with cousins and the hot tub. It had everythinf we needed. Jacob was very responsive and helpful. Hocking Hills is a beautiful area and if we make it back, we would totally stay here again.

What a gorgeous stay! Cozy but not cramped, super comfy bed, soft linens, warm, and just wonderful! The fire pit and hot tub were lovely. And there's a massage chair to boot!

A very charming home! The decor was awesome and the furniture in the living room-VERY COMFORTABLE-the beds were too! The basement was soooo cool! We did not do the fire pit-only stayed one night! Perfect get away! Highly recommend it! The kitchen was set up perfect as well and the bathrooms CLEAN!!! Lived it! The porch and deck were perfect as well!!!!

Stayed here two years in a row for OU mom’s weekend! Perfect space for kids to hang in basement, while moms can sleep in bedrooms. Outdoor space looks so inviting, but it’s been too cold for us to enjoy it. If you’re looking for a place to host your daughter & her friends- this is it!! It’s not on campus, but that’s also what our girls wanted- to get away! Just a short drive to campus (15 min) though if needed!

Caleb‘s place was a beautiful retreat. The peaceful backyard watching the animals play on the hill was a bonus. The kitchen was stocked with spices and a few snacks. The king bed was exceptionally comfortable. He had plenty of extra blankets. Caleb was very responsive, friendly, and accommodating to our requests. It’s close to Hocking Hill State Park and restaurants, wineries, distilleries, and grocery.

This was the perfect spot for our trip to Athens. Be careful on the country road once you get off the highway. It is winding with a few tight curves, but definitely a beautiful short drive. We really liked the porches that faced the woods and fields.

Very clean and comfortable place to stay - an easy 20 minute drive to OU and uptown Athens. Had everything we needed for a short stay.

I was in town for a concert and some hiking & this place was perfect! Short drive into town, peaceful location, and a clean simple apartment. The hosts were helpful and available.

Cindy was great! I would highly recommend staying at her house, it was clean and organized, Cindy was very kind and welcoming. It was very close to uptown.

It's a bargain, 30 minutes to Hocking Hills, 20 mins to Athens. Only $39 a night for your own fully furnished studio . Includes kitchen and full size washer/dryer and flat screen tv. You can even build a fire out back in the fire pit if you wish. The hosts were very responsive to my needs. For comparison pricing most camping spots in Hocking Hills go for $30-40 a night. I will definitely be going back. BTW great hiking in Hocking Hills during the day and great restaurants in Athens in the nightime

I love Starry Night! This was my second stay and I am already planning a third stay. If you have a four legged travel companion **THIS** is, hands down, the best place to stay in Athens. The Airbnb is located within a neighborhood with low speed / low travel roads great for safe— dog walks (unlike most of pet friendly hotels in town). I highly recommend it to other OU parents…. a lovely accommodation a few miles SE from the Stimson Rd highway exit. You get the best of both worlds - beautiful scenery both there and on the drive out but close enough to town so it’s not inconvenient to campus, uptown or the shopping district on East State Street. Brenda and Deb go out of their way to make you feel welcome. My daughter and several of her friends came and out for an evening- there was plenty of room in the living area for a group of five to hang out enjoy some food and each other’s company.

Absolutely wonderful getaway, quiet and peaceful but not so far from a variety of entertainment options. Great place!

We had an excellent stay! The hot tub was nice and the view exceptional, considering how close you were to town, yet you still felt like you were in the country. The home was a little old fashioned with a bit of an older smell. Very spacious, open concept, accommodations are great! Thank you for an excellent weekend stay.

We had a great time at the place in South Zanesville! Great House! I brought my wife and daugher to visit my Mom, and we all stayed at the place. My Mom lives in a senior apartment, and she is a wheelchair user. She can walk small distances but relies on the chair most of the time. We chose this place to accommodate her. It was easy for her to get in and out of the house. The listing says there are a couple steps to get to the side door, but it didn't feel like it. And you can open the garage door to enter if those steps seemed questionable. Everything was on 1 floor, so that worked out really well for her. We were expecting her to sleep on the bed in the bedroom, but it was too high for her to use. She ended up on the pull out sofa bed. The shower wasn't very accessible for her. She typically uses a walk in shower. The shower in this unit has a seat, but the step into the tub was too high for her. We were happy with the place, and my mom got her much needed grandaughter time!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! The hot tub was perfect, and the surroundings were private and peaceful. The cabin was clean and had everything that we needed. Nicole had a great informative binder with lots of recommendations, including menus of different restaurants in the area, and information. We will definitely come back for a future stay.

Lovely place to stay when we were just passing through, would definitely stay again if ever traveling back to the area!

Convenient location for our family get together in nearby Vincent. Very peaceful setting. Make sure you check-in while it is light out, as it is hard to find in the dark (we drove by it a few times).

Beautiful cabin in a private area with more amenities than you can count. Every detail was well thought out and we didn't have to look far to find what we needed! Well stocked, and so many things to keep you occupied if you don't feel like just relaxing. We are already talking about how fun it will be to return!

I enjoyed my stay here and would love to come back! Communication with Celesta was a breeze. She was so very responsive and kind. The place was beautiful, clean, and so cozy. There's another cabin on the property but even in the winter you can't see it from this one, so it feels private and peaceful. The area is amazing. Palmer's Market is a short drive and has so many amazing things. Triple Nickel Diner had our business a few times, too! Athens is about a 30 minute drive with shops, restaurants, trails, you name it! Don't pass this place up. I can't wait to come back.

This was my first time booking an airbnb and the stay and experience couldn’t have been better. The cabin was very clean, cozy and peaceful. The hosts were amazing as they were very welcoming and accommodating. The flexibility for check in is a plus too. I highly recommend booking with them.

A great little cabin in the woods in Amish country. It’s the perfect distance away from anything you need, and the cabin is extremely peaceful at night. The cabin clearly has care put into it, and it’s a great place if you want to get away from normal life and internet for a few days in some beautiful rolling hills

It was a spur of the moment idea for my wife and I to get away to the river a few days. We reserved on a Saturday evening. Response was immediate. Less than 48 hours later on a cold and windy Monday at 3pm we arrived. We were greeted by the really neat electric fireplace already running making it warm and comfortable. It was a great time, the place is very peaceful and private. We felt right at home. The cabin is clean and comfortable. Very unique and cool feature is the huge boulder that is outback. The rock is a great background for photos. It is way bigger in person than in the pictures. The wifi worked out great. My wife works remotely and it worked flawlessly the entire stay. She enjoyed working from the kitchen table and opening the blinds for the river view. We plan to come back here this summer when the water warms up, to do some fishing.
