Guests at this cozy, uniquely decorated 1950's home have a private living room with TV, bathroom, and small bedroom on first floor with large bedroom on second floor with TV. Each bedroom has a desk. There is a mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffee pot. Coffee, tea, fruit, OJ, milk, cereal, bread for toast, butter and jam are supplied. My location is close to lovely parks (beautiful Roland park a 3 minute walk) antique shops, Amish country and lovely Lancaster city.
“We stayed at Eileen's for a family wedding that was nearby. To be honest, the last AirBnb experience we had turned us off a bit, and we almost did not go this route this time. However, we ended up very happy that we tried again. It was just the two of us staying so things worked out very well. Plenty of space, little kitchenette that was stocked with breakfast foods (which we enjoyed all 3 mornings we were there) and there is also a front porch where you can sit and relax if you wish. There is a street at the end of the block that has fast food and other stores, so that is convenient as well if you have a need. We did not get to check out the park that is just down the block, but it looked like a nice place to spend time weather permitting. Eileen also came to the rescue when I needed a safety pin for my dress :-). We would definitely stay here again if we get back to that area.”
We highly recommend this eclectic & inspirational house to writers, artists and musicians. It is located along busy Rt. 322 in the great town of Honey Brook. Diner, Cheese Shop & Bistro - all within 1 mile. Lancaster County Tourist towns - within 25 min.
“There are so many things I can say about this space... it was a sweet little getaway away from the world. I truly didn’t want to leave this oasis. You can tell that Christopher and Claudia put a lot of work and effort into the thoughtful touches that made the place personable, inviting, cozy, and a pleasure to stay in. I went in each of the rooms to explore and admire the vintage decor that gave the space so much of its character. Such a treasure! Will definitely be back!”
Beautiful Lancaster County country setting surrounded by lush green farms on gently rolling hills. Fifteen minutes from Lancaster and just outside Ephrata, home of the beautiful Ephrata Cloister, a national historic landmark. Five minutes from Route 222 in the heart of PA Dutch country. Great for business travelers and international guests.
“I had a wonderful stay at Jane & Steve's home. They were very warm and welcoming. Their home is lovely and comfortable. You feel like your away from it all, but you're actually close to everything. The bedroom was clean and cozy plus I slept like a baby on that Bed. Bathroom was great and shower had great pressure. Jane & Steve couldn't have been nicer hosts. I recommend their home Highly!”
