Amazing view great for 2 families:hot tub, FP, C/A

I can't say enough good things about Marla's Airbnb. We were there with another family in December and it's gorgeous! There was enough room to comfortably fit 2 families (collectively with 3 preschoolers and an infant). The separate but connected apartments were perfect for each family to have their privacy when needed but also come together. We had meals enjoying the beautiful view, snug next to the fireplace. The hot tub was wonderful. Communication was easy and Marla is graciously accommodating. For those of you traveling with infants, there's a baby bathtub and a pack n' play. I highly recommend and am hoping to come back soon.

Tim's place is beautiful and great for a family or a small group of friends. the views are breathtaking and aside from 1 neighbour(who was not there the whole time) it is a very private location. the place was spotless clean when we arrived!! we had some issues with sleeping arrangements as we got extremely unlucky with the weather while we stayed and were hit with cold fronts and rain. Was way too cold to sleep in the bunkie and unfortunatley there is no heating in there. I would say 6 people max to reach max comfortability in this cottage. We will definitely be back here with a smaller group and no baby!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage! It’s the perfect getaway—cozy, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The highlight for us has to be the sunsets. We've traveled to many places, but nothing compares to the breathtaking sunsets here. The view is simply magical, with the sky painted in the most vibrant hues. Watching the sun dip below the horizon from the porch has become our favorite part of each day. We can't recommend this place enough !

Here's a condensed version under 1000 characters: "We've rented many cottages, and this one is by far the cleanest. The waterfront is beautiful, with a well-kept fire pit and a peaceful lake that felt private during the week. The cottage was thoughtfully stocked with everything from soap and coffee to all the necessary appliances. The internet was fast, and the heat pump kept us warm on cooler nights. We kayaked and canoed around the lake several times, enjoying the wildlife—turtles, herons, ducks, loons, and frogs. The fire pit was perfectly placed for sunset views, with plenty of kindling and wood. The BBQ worked great, and Verona offered everything we needed, including good food at Muddy Waters Restaurant and treats at a local bakery and Kawartha ice cream shop. The fall colors were stunning throughout our stay. Highly recommend this cottage for a peaceful, well-equipped getaway!"

Thanks Douglas for the perfect cottage. The cottage is right on the lake Ontario and is huge. Its suitable for large groups. Garden is spacious, home was very neat & clean and perfect sunrise views. The deck can accommodate 15+ people for barbeque evenings. The dark skies are perfect for celestial viewing. We will recommend this for vacations.

Everything was great! We rented both house and it was perfect. It was very smooth! Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the hot tubs because of the weather. Also didn’t realize until we got there that theres was a restaurant behind us which was very convenient! Would definitely stay again :)

We had an exceptional experience at this place! The environment was tranquil and the surroundings were simply beautiful. The host was incredibly friendly, providing us with all the necessary instructions and even helping out when we encountered a minor hiccup with the fire. The adorable animals on the property were a delightful bonus, and we were even treated to some fresh duck eggs! Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and enjoyable retreat.

Steven's place was exactly what we needed. Easter weekend we visited our son. We weren't 100% sure how many of our family were going to make the trek. The house turned out to. e perfect with 2 more of my sons showing up, so the extra space was magnificent. With my 92 year old mother in one of the rooms it was nice to have a bathroom handy. The downstairs living room with TV allowed the younger lads to stay up later and not disturb the others needing sleep. Thanks for a perfect Easter weekend.
