Our family (3 boys in kindergarten and elementary school) had a wonderful time at this place. The hostess was extremely friendly and pointed out many small insider tips in the beautiful area (outdoor pools and hikes). We also chose this place because the region was new to us, and we would definitely come back. Particularly noteworthy, however, is how warmly the hostess introduced us to everything, which made our time really pleasant. The premises met our expectations exactly and were exactly as described. A very nice apartment in a top location. Everything is very easy to walk to. Also ideal for hiking. Everything was fine, the apartment was even preheated especially for us.

This is the SUPERB location, walkable to everything we could think of reaching to in Karlsruhe, from ZKM on one end to the Schloss on the other, with all the downtown's restaurants and Nature Museum on that way. A local grocery store literally on the same block, all other services within 2 blocks. You can jump on a tramway to get anywhere in the city within a blink of an eye. And yet - silent at night, we slept through even when we didn't need to. A great, I would even say, strategic location. And plenty of space too!

We had a lovely weekend at Carole's. She is very responsive and available. The accommodation is as advertised, very nice and clean. We will come back without hesitation! Clémence

We had an exceptional stay at this property. Everything was perfectly clean and as described. The bathroom deserves a special mention: spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, it was a real pleasure to relax there after our days of sightseeing. Hosts were very welcoming and available, answering our questions quickly. The apartment is ideal for a stay for two, very well equipped and decorated with great taste. We have no negative points to report, everything was spotless. We'll be happy to go back!

Charming house, clear and comfortable. It is well proportioned, very well-equipped and offers all the comforts you need. Bergheim is an ideal resort for visiting the region, going around the (many) wineries, strolling in the forest, in the vineyards or in the tourist sites. A very nice Alsatian bubble, enhanced by the exemplary hospitality of the owners. We will come back without a doubt. Thank you for everything

We stayed for one night. I like the place and also the location in general. Everything was squeaky clean (and we did hoover and clean kitchen and living room before leaving and brought out trash from all waste-paper baskets as required). It is spacey and well lit, two storeys (with sleeping quarters upstairs). High ceilings and a huge fireplace are a plus. There are only three minor quirks: The place is right opposite to a train station. In the morning, from 5am trains hollered several times before passing. You don't need an alarm clock, given you want to be awake at 5am. The other thing is a 70€ cleaning fee regardless of the duration of the stay and the number of people. We were only two persons, staying only one night (and quite cleanly, leaving everything as nice as we found it). We would have loved to use the furnace, but this is restricted to Henk's burning material and we got no answer on pour request to buy some from him. We loved our stay in this lovely and spacious apartment. Luxurious and tastefully furnished. It is located above a bakery. That means there are some noises from early on and that you are literally just a door away from delicious fresh bread. The host is very friendly and welcoming.

We had a lovely stay! The accommodation is clean, pleasant and perfectly matches the photos, so no unpleasant surprises. Everything was ready when we arrived. A little extra to consider: adding a 5th blanket and a 5th pillow, it would be great for perfect comfort when you are 5. Thank you again for hosting us!
