We had a great time at Léa and Joâo's. Great typical place where you feel good. Everything was perfect: breakfast, the room, the welcome, the advice João picked us up from the airport and guided us for the ascent of Fogo Great hike. We are delighted with our stay at Léa and João's.

We had a wonderful stay! Hosts were super friendly and let us check in barely arrived. We prepared breakfast earlier so that we could catch the plane, a gesture that we greatly appreciated. They also organized transfers between the airport and Chã das Caldeiras, all impeccable! The cherry at the top of the cake was the tour to the top of the volcano with João. The experience was unforgettable! João is super experienced, conveys calmness that makes us feel safe at every step. I was a little sick that day, and he was extremely attentive — he took breaks whenever necessary, encouraged me and ensured that I felt comfortable and confident throughout the journey. Village also gave us great tips on where to eat, taste local wine and explore the village. The room was simple but very comfortable, with a beautiful view of the volcanic landscape. In the evening, the starry sky is beautiful. I highly recommend it! The friendliness, care and beauty of the place made this experience unforgettable.

Thank you Léa for hosting us in this typical village cottage. We really wish we could have stayed longer, but what we experienced there was amazing (we recommend the ascent of the volcano). Léa was a perfect host, proactive and a great help given our adventures to get to the island. In particular, she organized our transportation, and booked a guide for the ascent of the volcano. We would recommend it without hesitation, the setting was beautiful...

Nice meeting with Zito. The accommodation is basic but sufficient. The breakfasts prepared by Sylviane and Zito are excellent and hearty, and the cooked dinners made from almost exclusively local products are of high quality. Zito accompanied us to the top of Mt Fogo, with lots of exchanges and sharing. We highly recommend this address.

We spend 2 nights with Dany, he makes you feel at home and he does everything in his power to make your stay amazing. We also did the tour to the Volcano with him and I must say we couldn't have done it without him, he helped my daughter all the way up and down. It was a wonderful experience to stay with Dany and to get to know his big family. The place is simple but clean, enough for couple of nights, we would go again without hesitation!
