Vacation rentals in Mount Vernon

This is a very nice house in a safe neighborhood. The best highlight is definitely a super nice and spacious backyard, especially if traveling with pets or kids. The house was clean and comfortable. Overall excellent experience and enjoyed talking to the friendly & caring hosts too.

Helen’s place felt like home and was an amazing place for our family to have some time with our Midshipman from the Naval Academy. Helen was kind and super responsive in communication. We would definitely visit again.

This home is really nice! We stayed there because our daughter was getting married at a venue about 5 minutes away from the home. It was perfect! Plenty of space for our family and was great for the bridal party to get ready! Nice open floor plan. The beds a bedrooms were very large with comfortable beds. The home was well equipped. The outdoor area was nice and I’m sure the pool is nice in the summertime. Thank you for sharing your home with us on this very special occasion.

The place is exactly as pictured and listed, very cozy for our group of 3 small families. Hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating with all our requests, and there were lots of conveniences such as extra towels and blankets, coffee beans and grinder, toiletries, baking sheets, kid related supplies, and more. Dining and lounge areas will be a tad short on seating for a max group of 8, but we adapted just fine to that. It was below freezing for much of our stay but the house stayed very comfortable for us. We found the area to be quiet, but we aren't sound sensitive so YMMV. There's a large grocery store and quite a few good restaurants within walking distance. DEFINITELY hit up Cafe Dear Leon if you can, it is a bakery in walking distance and all 8 of us raved about every item.

Tiffany’s place was very cozy and comfortable. Amenities were well thought out. The place had an absolutely beautiful view. Best choice for a quiet weekend getaway with family or friends.

Absolutely amazing! The place had so much to do whether it was outside or in! Swimming in the pool, hot tub, kayaking and/or paddle boarding on the lake, giant yard games. Inside had a pool table, wide variety of board games, and many streaming services. Brenda was extremely friendly and helpful in many way. She had a binder full of local places for food and things to do! She truly showed us the best of Maryland.

The house was exactly as the pictures show; was very clean; well equipped and very comfortable. It is in a neighborhood setting making it very walkable. There were puzzles and games to entertain our little one when we were in the house. Elena was very responsive to any inquiry made to her. We had no issues at all with finding the home, entering and exiting with ease and really felt at home. I would certainly stay here again when traveling in the area.

We stayed at this property for a group meetup, and it was perfect! The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the common areas were great for spending time together without feeling cramped (There were 11 of us). The kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to prepare meals, and the game room added extra fun. The outdoor space was a highlight. The backyard was peaceful, with mature trees and plenty of seating on the deck and screened porch. We followed a trail from the backyard and were pleasantly surprised to find a historic farm with a share garden nearby. The location was ideal—close to Renn Fest and Medieval Times, yet in a quiet neighborhood. The hosts really thought of everything, from fast Wi-Fi to plenty of linens and supplies. Overall, a fantastic stay, and we’d love to visit again. Highly recommended!
