Was attracted to this cabin by the hammocks and the forrest all around the deck. We felt very welcomed walking into the cabin and seeing 2 chocolate brownies and an easter chocolate. The deck was very peaceful during the daytime with plenty of birds and wallabies. Enjpyed the fire in the evenings too. Very relaxing stay all up and felt very grounded. Would love to come back and stay.

Had an amazing and relaxing weekend. The location and cabin exceeded my expectations. The hot tub topped off our weekend. Will definitely be going back again. Thanks Dee

We had such an amazing escape here! We drove up and just said "WOW!". The views and jacuzzi take the cabin to the next level. The local wildlife make for such an adventure with the kids, and there is lots to do, despite being so remote. The kids loved playing pool and table tennis at the resort end. Susanne and Dave had everything in the house that we needed and provided the comforts and added extras that just made it all the more thoughtful. Come here prepared to cook all meals or drive into town and grab a meal, even the drive is nice. We loved clocking off from the world and just enjoying our time away from all the busy. Thanks so much for making our stay so memorable :)

We had a wonderful stay at Sugarloaf. The cabin is very well maintained, decorated and came with all the special touches you’d want for a perfect stay. The spa, kangaroo food & provisions including muesli and jams were especially appreciated. The landscaping is also immaculate whilst also being very well integrated into the nature. You can tell the owners really care about this place, especially when you see some other cabins on the same street that are far less well maintained. The only thing that could be improved is to note in the listing that the tap water comes from a tank so has to be filtered before you can drink it. Tim did provide a jug filter but as we had a baby and toddler with us we had to bring a lot of bottled water for drinking / sterilising. He did let me know a couple of days beforehand which was good. Other friends of ours had the same situation in nearby cabins but weren’t told and that left them in a pickle as the shops are a long way away. We’d love to stay again!

Lovely peaceful haven, tucked away at the end of the road around a pretty dam. Cottages are well spaced, well equipped and the grounds lovely to stroll through with our dogs. We loved doing a BBQ breakfast on the terrace and dinner in the restaurant was very good also. We would return to stay here again. Wifi reception is not great, but the peace and quiet is the trade off.

A fantastic cabin. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come again. The views out to the bush were lovely.

Thank you Eloise and Troy for having us and our two dogs over the Christmas break. Lovely property with everything we needed, a spacious yard for the pups, and Eloise was very responsive and helpful during our stay. Would recommend to anyone looking to get out of the city and be amongst nature for a few days :)

I seriously cannot fault this place! It was beautiful, peaceful, the home itself was gorgeous, large and clean. Helen was so lovely and I loved meeting her horses! My border kelpie loved running around the backyard and saying hello to the horses. There were even treats for her and some towels for her wet feet. I got to enjoy the breakfast hamper whilst taking in the beautiful scenery on the back porch. Went to Diamond and Black Head beaches which were just as serene and not a far drive. Spent my last full day enjoying the rain at the house. Even got to see a shooting star on my last night! I would most definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to get away from the city, unwind and just enjoy the peacefulness of the country. Oh and the shower was amazing! Two shower heads, love love love! Overall, 5 stars and would give more if I could! Will definitely be back as soon as I can, I think I’ve found my special getaway spot! Carol's site is very peaceful in the middle of nature. The DayDreamer - our accomodation - was the perfect set up for 2 families with many kids and 2 dogs! A lot of space outside to play as the campsites were not occupied during our stay ;) Very relaxing! Also plenty to do short drives away from 10 to 30 min (beach, horse ridding, treetops, even go karting near Newcastle!!) ; plenty to keep everyone busy. If your thing is eating / coffeeing out, there may be other better suited options but it was perfect for us! Thanks.

The property is of a traditional farmhouse style with modern improvements. We had no issues at the house. Only difficulty was leaving the property due to the heavy rainfall overnight off the back of the recent cyclone. Thankfully we were able to get away with careful driving. Thx Team Kranbach. Would love to come again.

Our stay here in Gloucester was peaceful and super relaxing. Dan reached out by email with detailed and easy to understand instructions which made finding the property super easy, even when we arrived late in the evening while it was dark. The property overlooks the hills and the view in the morning is gorgeous. We had clear skies in the evening so we had a perfect view of the stars. The kitchen was fully equipped and we had no issues preparing our meals, the gas bbq outside was also very handy. During the day the local cows walked by to graze and was a fun sight to see from the balcony. Would definitely stay here again Thanks Dan!

The perfect base for our Hunter adventure. Location is right in the middle of wine country, with wineries in all directions. The cabin itself was well maintained and had everything we wanted and needed for a perfect stay. They also accommodated our dog which was a major selling point. The accommodation is owned by Harkham Estate, so a free wine tasting was included. The tasting was one of our favourites of the trip. The communication from booking to leaving was first class and always willing to assist where needed. Will definitely be back.

From the minute I booked this beautiful cabin, Karen was an amazing host from the get go. Always helpful and very responsive you couldn’t ask for any better if you tried. The cabin is the perfect getaway, it was quiet, cosy and so homely. The amenities were great and the beds so comfortable. Even though we had a bit of wet weather it still was an enjoyable time. Sitting out on the deck listening to nature just made everything feel at peace, it really is a beautiful place to stay. Would definitely love to go back again.

Stayed here over Christmas Break with my little family (2 under 2years old) & they absolutely loved it. It was great to be away from the chaos of the city & to be in-tune with nature. Lots to do - Interested to know what's it's like in Winter xx

a lovely cabin with a great atmosphere and privacy only suggestion was that the lounge needs some stain removing done.

Tha cabin was very clean and we had convenient and clear instructions to get in. It is not a house but a high standard cabin in a holiday park. The park was quiet and the swimming pool great. Access to the beach from the holiday park, 2 mn walk. Easy and beautiful beachfront. We had a very pleasant stay. Thank you.

Nothing to say except 5 star! If you are looking for a beautiful peaceful place to stay, with extra charm and beautifully designed, then look no further. To my mind the location is perfect; it's quiet and tranquil but in a 5 minute drive, you are in Crescent Head with all it has to offer. I didn't want to leave, Kim even gave us a freshly picked pineapple! Sarah was a great and helpful communicator. The house had everything you need, and a very comfy couch and bed. Just be aware there is no Wifi.

Our stay at Arinya over Christmas was absolutely delightful, the view and wallabies were the top attraction for us, the house is great, well equipped and clean, the resort’s pool, tennis court and pool table are well maintained and considering it was Christmas period we’d expect it crowded but for our surprise it was completely empty and quiet, we enjoyed every single moment. Would definitely go back again! Arinya is such a paradise to relax and unwind and Archana is a wonderful host, always prompt to help, special thanks to her!

One of our most memorable Airbnb stays in the country! Just absolutely beautiful farm and bush lands teaming with aussie wildlife! The cottage is perfectly situated overlooking the hills and evenings by the campfire were serene. Jane was an increadible host giving us great lay of the land and tips on where to spot birds and animals. We will certainly be back next time we pass through the area 😊
