“Stayed there for 2 nights.Loved the place and ambience. Everything was thoughtfuly taken care of. Room and washroom were sparkling clean and hygienic. Devendra is a fantastic cook. He offered us local delicacies and regular home made Indian veg and non veg food on demand. We enjoyed talking sessions sitting in front of the fireplace inside and bonfire outside the house. He gave a local tour to nearby places including his old parental property. All in all as he is a "super host"says it all which he achieved in last few months since she started his homestay. So better you give his place a visit and know it on your own. Such refined and pure hospitality you can never get in a hotel !! I would definitely be coming back to his place for a longer time next. And strongly recommend you all to come here and enjoy the serenity of the Surroundings.”

“Katy ma'am and Prakash sir are an amazing host. They communicate well, go out of their way to help the guests. They reply fast, are always available, also Naresh sir who lives all the way in US is always available. He must have called 4-5 times to make sure we were settled well, sleeping well and whether me need anything else or not. They also helped with the taxi service whenever and wherever, by giving us a local driver number, who charged certainly lower than market rate. About the place, the place is located perfectly. The window and the balcony directly faces the valley which gives an amazing look. With proper sunset view and atmosphere, I guess that is what heaven looks like. It is furnished appropriately with all the basic amenities and much more. WiFi is great too, always works and provides great speed. It's located maybe 10 mins walking from the famous mall road, and small dhaba(restaurant) are available at reasonable distance as well. The kitchen is stocked with basic stuffs, sugar and few spices, few pulses, there's a microwave oven and a fridge too if you are planning to cook something on your own. Definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone visiting Shimla. In the words of Prakash sir, they are here to make a huge family, and it's a pleasure being a part of that family.”

“It was great to visit uncle (Ashwani) and aunty home in Cheog who make a great couple and a wonderful host. The view from the window can not be explained in words and we were lucky enough to witness snow during our stay which made the view even better. The house is a modern one with amenities like heated floor in the rooms and washrooms. They offered us lip smacking hot food including some of the local himachali dishes prepared by aunty. The best part of the stay was the barbecue arrangement by uncle on the open terrace with great lighting and snow on the turf (the terrace has turf). I would definitely recommend this place to families looking for some relaxing time away from the hustle bustle of cities and myself look forward to visiting them again.”
