My home is in a quiet neighborhood, in an even quieter Eastern Shore town. The room is just off the front entrance with plenty of natural light during the day. My house is right off of route 13 making it a very short detour from the highway for those traveling through the area. It’s centrally located to many local tourist hot spots.
“My room was immaculately clean, very comfortable, and well decorated. Although there's no private entrance, it's right next to the front door so you don't have to go through the whole house to get to it. I had a full bathroom to myself during my stay, and although the kitchen is shared, there was plenty of refrigerator space and room to prepare my meals. Kellie is a wonderful host and provided lots of little extras like snacks in the room and a basket of "frequently forgotten" toiletries. She knows the area well and can make informed suggestions about places to go and what to see. There's a lot to choose from, with downtown Pocomoke City a stone's throw away with Assateague Island and Chesapeake Bay just a very short drive from Kellie's home. Kellie has a charming young son, two beautiful tabby cats, and a very energetic and friendly dog. If you love kids and animals you will feel very much at home!”
My place is close to restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, the light, and the beautiful nature views. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
“Tranquil Shores is a lovely and peaceful home that backs up to beautiful wetlands. The house is sparkling clean and perfectly appointed with everything/anything you might need. The house sits at the end of a quiet road and the location in town is great. My brief mid-winter stay here what just what I needed and will definitely return in the summer! Thank you, Joseph!”
Historical Bank building (built in 1915) as the Farmers Bank of Oak Hall, Va. Bank was in existence from 1915 until it closed in March of 1927. This building is one of the original Railroad Banks on Virginia’s Eastern Shore. One of the few that exist today. Recently renovated for a Vacation Rental.
“What you see on the post is exactly what you'll get. It's a very comfortable little house with lots of charm and history; very unique. And Denise is very responsive and a great host!”
