Vacation rentals with lake access in New Zealand

Sarah was a wonderful host and her place felt like home. We had everything we needed for a week in Taupo. Close to a shopping market and the walking path on the lake, the place was quiet and peaceful.

Great choice for a family stay. Really spacious house and a well equipped kitchen for home cooking. Located close to all the main attractions in Rotorua. Thanks for having us!

The house is in a great location and the rooms are spacious enough. You can see Taupo Lake from the living room. The only minor drawback is that the towels provided in the bathroom are not clean enough. Some turn yellow, while others are covered in dust. But our family still likes it very much and we live happily.

This is an awesome home. Well furnished and the kitchen has every item you need to cook up a feast. Very spacious and the swim in the river was great. We will be back one day.

We love the place, it was what it looks like on the photos. Just looking at the view outside the house is amazing and the house is spectacular in all aspects. Perfect for this time of Easter where we dont do anything and just bond with the family and be at peace with nature. Terri was very responsive to my text. Our communication was seamless. Absolutely stunning location and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the lakeside AirBnB accommodation. Ash & Savannah were proactive and responsive and made us feel welcome….highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy the wonderful view!

This place is absolutely ideal. Firstly - it looks even better than the photos. The view is stunning - whether just relaxing in the living room, balcony, bedroom - you have unobstructed & private views. The unit is private, quiet, and has everything you need. I stayed for 4 nights and felt fully at home. The balcony is amazing for relaxing. The location for me was perfect, as it’s only a short drive/walk to QT - but yet it’s more quiet/less busy. The track for walking or cycling along the water is literally a few steps away. So close to the airport too. I loved everything about the unit & it is a huge part of what made QT as amazing as it was! Would highly recommend to book.

The place is close to Queenstown airport, restaurants and easily accessible. It's just few steps away from the famous Boatshed restaurant of the Queenstown. It's a good place to stay with family The host is responsive and cooperative. During the stay , had some issues with the sink The host fixed it immediately in the middle of Easter holiday. Will stay again.

A truly wonderful apartment in a fantastic location, 3 mins walk to the town centre. Karen was an excellent host and was very responsive throughout, providing lots of local recommendations.

A lovely three bedroom townhouse well located. You can walk into the centre of Queenstown along a lakeside path, it will take an hour, but its a nice walk. We ubered home after walking in. Would suit families, or couples with all bedrooms having ensuites. spotlessly clean, with everything you need.

Beautiful view from the apartment and super relaxing and peaceful environment - we had a lovely stay. Great spot if staying in Taupo, 10 mins drive to town and other hot spots.

Lovely spacious and comfortable cottage. We found it an ideal place as a base for further exploration of Central Otago. Highly recommend.

The love shack was a gorgeous secluded spot that is perfect for any type of getaway! The hosts were so delightful and had no hesitation with allowing us to charge our EV ,which was so helpful! The love shack itself is beautiful, a very modern decor and it is so well stocked with everything you could possibly need! We will definitely return!

We loved our stay! Was wonderful to be able to tie up our boat at the jetty and visit the hot pools. A very comfortable stay, and the kitchen was very well fitted out for cooking. Was also a great little walk to the cafe. Beautiful views and native birds. Alec was a great host and really appreaciate his great proactive communications. Would love to stay again.

Beautiful lakefront cottage with incredible views and a quiet and private location. This home is older but clean and well-maintained. There is no central heat or AC but the space heaters were effective. The host provided lots of information about activities. The house is located about 35-45 minutes to Mount Cook National Park and Lake Tekapo, 7 minutes from Lake Pukaki retreat (stargazing) and 15-20 minutes from Twizel with shopping and restaurants. The house was larger than expected with 4 twin and 1 larger (queen or king?) bed. Checkin was easy, kitchen was well-equipped and our stay was great.

This venue holds so many special memories for us. Even with the not-so-great weather over the long weekend, it was still the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy time with our loved ones. Huge thanks to Christina and David for sharing such a beautiful place!

A great little cottage not far from township. The photos are exactly as the place looks. Very tidy and welcoming with comfy beds.
