Very polite staff and very accommodating to our needs. The attic room was exactly as described and did include air conditioning, which is a rarity in Switzerland. Breakfast area was well organized and food was high quality. We had an early departure before opening and the staff kindly offered to prepare us a breakfast to-go. Overall, we were very happy with this choice as a base while we explored Lucerne. Felt very safe walking the nearby streets at night, and had easy access to a local brew pub with an outdoor patio for drinks or a meal (we only tried the former). Great value, and highly recommend!

Where to begin! This goes beyond Airbnb- an incredible bed and breakfast experience. Beautiful architecture and the best nights sleep with bed, room temperature, and shades. Gorgeous view and authentic Swiss experience.

Maria's bed and breakfast is a 300 year old house in a quiet neighborhood a few miles from the center of Lucerne. The bus ride from the train station is 10-15 minutes long and the bus runs every 10 minutes. Maria, the host, was very friendly and helpful, and served a wonderful breakfast every morning. This room is on the third floor of this three-story house. It involves several staircases to get up there. The space was exactly as described, but be aware it is very small for more than two people. It consists of a bathroom with shower; an anteroom filled almost entirely by a queen bed; and a bedroom with two twin beds pushed together. The bedroom had a closet and a door that could be closed; the anteroom has only a small shelf and a curtain instead of a door. Two people will be fine here, but it was very tight for a family of four. There was not room to place more than one small suitcase in the anteroom, and we were tripping over each other. Still, a good value for the price!

We stayed at The Bed and Breakfast on our family vacation. The room was comfortable and fit 4 perfectly. There were plenty of beautiful bathrooms and the beds were quite comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The lady who checked us in was very sweet and even helped us so that we didn’t have to pay overnight parking - we just had to change the time on our parking timer once. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend The Bed and Breakfast!

Unfortunately, we only stayed there for one night. The place was beautiful, peaceful, and simply breath-taking. Breakfast in the morning while sitting the living room with view on the lake was gorgeous. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, communicating proactively and thought about everything. We had a great time and can highly recommend this place!

This Bed and Breakfast was the best! Has such a charming and friendly atmosphere. Even with sharing the building with other guest restrooms were plenty. The rooms were great. Beds were cozy. The best part was the breakfast! The hosts went above and beyond to have a variety of delicious options; breads, meats, fruit, yogurt, grains, and the absolute best jam! We enjoyed our time very much! Highly recommend

Werner and Anita were great hosts, super friendly and warm. We would come back back. The property is a great starting point for excursions in the area between St. Gallen, Zurich and Lucerne. The hosting: I was hosted by Danial's friends; Monica and her husband. Not gonna lie they were the best hosts I've ever met in all my travels among Europe. Very helpful and friendly and we spent lots of time chatting and learning about Swiss culture and regionover the delicious breakfast they were offering with a warm wholehearted way. The location: great for relaxing and nature observation, quiet and peaceful. The stay: very clean and tidy and they provide anything you would need. I can't recommend it enough!

Cornelia is a fantastic host. Although we contacted her very late and spontaneously passing through Italy, she made everything possible to allow us a very nice stay. The surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful, the adventurous journey including cable car is worthwhile. We will be happy to come back.
