The cabin might lack exterior beauty. Although it has a Norwegian charm. But the inside makes up for it and the location is beautiful. The forest and surrounding nature gets undersold in the pictures. I have seen many forests but this one Is a gem. There are also great fishing opportunities nearby for those interested! Caught myself a PR trout! The long gravel road up to the cabin is pretty bumby and worn, but serves some amazing views and serene forest vibes! On the map it might look like you are in the middle of a densly packed cabin field. I was slightly worried that it would feel exposed. But when I arrived at the cabin I saw that you can't see a single other cabin from the front porch. So no worries. It feel private :) Highly recommend booking a stay at Storefri for a true forest cabin feel despite not being far from the city.

We are a small family who was the Oslo motor show.. this was perfect! Short distance to the nova spectrum. Central but feels un central! Here we could relax in peaceful surroundings after hectic days at the fair.. so really recommend this :)

Great place to stay and friendly host.

Awesome cabin for a weekend from Oslo. We took the train to Stryken and went home skiing - perfect ❄️ fire pit and cozy outside the cabin, and board games and fireplace inside. It's probably nice to be here in the summer as well. Peaceful and nice 😊

Super cozy and well equipped cabin. Had a great time playing board games, a ride in the canoe, sitting by the lake, and playing guitar. The burning toilet emits a not so pleasant smell but at least there's a toilet, and it is in a seperate room from the cabin, so not a big problem.

Availability and friendliness. We had a really good time. Highly recommended.
