The apartment was very nice, modern and pretty clean and mostly well stocked. The location was great and parking was easy and convenient especially for lower cars. Some things to note: they didn’t have hand soap in any of the bathrooms and for three nights the body wash and shampoo/conditioner was not enough. This was inconvenient as we had to make the extra trip to find a place for it. Another note one of the towels was wet but folded on the towel rack. Hopefully I guess straight from the laundry? And another one we picked up was stained. We also heard a scratching sound in the ceiling on the first night but it went away the by second night. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool but it was indoors. Overall though it was a great place and we enjoyed it a lot. Would definitely return.

This stay was truly a dream! Being able to walk just 10 minutes to one of the most stunning beaches I’ve ever seen felt like an absolute luxury. The location is perfect—nestled in a charming, authentic Mexican neighborhood that offers so much local character and culture. The apartment was spotless and exactly as described in the listing and photos, with thoughtful touches throughout that really made it feel like home. And I have to say—the memory foam bed was unbelievably comfortable. I slept better than I have in ages! I honestly didn’t want to leave and already can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and genuinely local experience.

James did an excellent job of communicating with my wife and me; very quick to respond. The Lookout is very clean with a great location, walkable to the beach, shops, and several restaurants. James provides a guide that includes clear instructions and great advice about the local area. If my wife and I come back to Hilton Head, we will try to stay at The Lookout or any of his other properties.

We loved staying at this air bnb in Destin! The beach was a very close walk, as well as a close walk to a couple restaurants! The place itself was clean and modern, but also cozy! The hosts were extremely responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend staying here!!

This place was great. Quality everything. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and nothing was cheaply made. The refrigerator freezer was very small, so don’t plan on putting a frozen pizza in it. There was a really cool ice maker that my teen boys really loved. Plenty of ice and a Yedi cooler to use. Place was in a great location, right on the beach. The building is pretty old, so the outside seemed like the inside wasn’t going to be nice, but it was probably the nicest condo there. Would definitely stay there again.

I’d definitely book this stay again . Me and my family enjoyed the stay. It was clean , easy to find and Rich was extremely helpful and kind ! If you are a family of 3-4 this is the place for you ! You’ll love it

This was my 2nd time staying here and it was just as good as the first. Clean, Easy to walk to a few local spots right in the marina, and local to the beach and shops. A great overall experience and i would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!

Everything was great with our stay - the house and location are perfect for a family vacation, especially due to the close proximity to everything. Communication with the host was always timely and helpful. Our entire family had a wonderful time!
