Newly renovated cottage on quiet Flower Lake. Great swimming and fishing. Family and pet friendly. Wilderness Reserve across the lake. One hour from Ottawa. Limited to 5 guests only please! If bringing a dog, please inform us beforehand.
“We really enjoyed our stay at Taina and Frank’s place. The cottage was cozy and equipped with everything we needed. It’s located next to Taina and Frank’s own cottage but there are enough trees between that it feels very private. The dock was a lovely, peaceful place to sit and relax. If you feel like going for a little hike, take a trip to Blueberry Mountain. It’s about a 7 minute drive around the lake, and a little hike up the mountain will provide you with a beautiful view. We loved everything about our stay. We had a great time! Thank you Taina and Frank!”
Stay in one of three unique, rustic little cabins at Mosque Lake: Hilltop, Pioneer and Lakeside. Each cabin has a kitchenette/dinning room, bedroom, living space and bathroom (toilet and cold water sink) in an open space style. All cabins have electricity but no heat sources. Nights start to get cold in late August . Bring lots of warm clothes for layers and extra blankets for sleeping (a winter hat for sleeping). Bring your own water toys, ATV and hiking gear. Fishing license a must!
“We stayed in the Lakeside Cabin and it was AWESOME. So cute & cozy!!! The view is FANTASTIC. It’s very hard to describe how amazing this place is with words… You simply MUST go and see it for yourself! We stayed 4 nights my husband, our 6 years old son and our 2 dogs and I wish we would have stayed a full week. Bob & Sue are so friendly, they are GREAT host! You can see them walking around and always ready for a little chat. OH! Don’t miss Bob’s amazing bonfire, it’s a must! All in all, this place is basically a little piece of paradise. We can’t wait to go back again, and we would highly recommend this lovely place to everyone.”
This bunkie, sided in Vermont Maple, was built in 2018. Tastefully decorated in barn board and v-joint pine inside, it features 7 cu. ft. fridge, air circulator, kitchen cart with hot/cold water dispenser, microwave, coffee maker, etc. It has a wardrobe, loveseat, end table and dining table for two. The queen bed is up the ladder in the loft. Great view onto Lake Mazinaw. Use of dock, deck, stand up paddleboards (SUPs), kayaks, canoe, Aqua Cycle and pedal boats. 30 min. walk to Bon Echo .
“Good value, near park and right on the water. Cabins are close to each other so not the best spot if you are looking for privacy. Bunkies do not have exclusive use of the docks as the cottages do...but watercraft are available to everyone. Host was very accommodating and kept us informed whenever a dock would be free when the other cottages had no guests checked in. Bunkie is actually so cozy, well built and was a great unique stay. All you need to bring in addition to sheets/towels is bug spray and food, everything else is there.”
