“Cris was a great host! She helped us by giving us tips on the different options we had during the pandemic. The place has a touch that feels like home. The bed, the sheets, the bathroom, were some of my favorite parts of the house. Outside the house I was enchanted by the harmony of the place, the rustic touches and the tranquility of being able to take a breath of air on the terrace with all the privacy and confidence that a guest may want. Near the apartment there are many places to eat, the markets just a few blocks away are a great option. Overall, I will say that I loved my stay at "Casa Maria"! It was my first experience staying at an AirbNb and I honestly was not sure what to expect. I am very glad that I chose to say at Cris' apartment; the place is super clean (which was huge for me given the situation that we are in currently). Cris was an excellent host who was more than willing to go the extra mile to accommodate to the different needs one might have when being abroad.”

“We loved our stay at la Casa de Don Mario! The space was perfect for the 2 of us and would be lovely for 4. It was well equipped for longer stays, too - I wished we'd had more time there. Mario was kind and helpful on arrival, check-in was easy, and we really enjoyed how he's designed the space. It's in a good location in the center/south of town from which to see Oaxaca.”
Located in one of the most central streets of Oaxaca, La Casa de Don Mario is close to everything. Oaxaca is a city to walk and having an accommodation in the center is a great advantage. Doing it in an old house that is part of the history of the city is a privilege. Decorated with furniture made with part of the old oil factory, rebuilt with the idea of preservation in a vintage environment, the house has many elements to enjoy Oaxaca and its heart of flavor and color.
“It is a huge loft in an old building 5 min walk from the central square. it is surprisingly quiet inside though due to the walls being like a meter thick. bedroom, bathroom, and the kitchen are nicely remodeled. lights, ac, internet, tv, hot water - everything works as expected. apartment was very clean, and the check-in took a minute. All in all very positive experience.”
