The author and artist Gunnar Brusewitz lived here and studied Tåkern and its nature in the spring of 1940. Bakery, café, pub and restaurant (Kafé på Skedet), Omberg, Heliga Hjärtas Monastery are only 2 km away.

Welcome to our newly built house in Hästholmen, Östergötland’s gem on the west coast. Built in 2022, perfect for vacationing with the whole family or friends. The house can comfortably accommodate 6 sleeping guests, large garden, 2 minutes to swimming, playground & ice cream. The house is located next to Östgötaleden with its beautiful nature, 5 min to Omberg and golf course, 30 min to Vadstena and Gränna. Around the corner is also Västergården's campsite for motorhomes.

Welcome to our summer house! At a distance of 200 meters, you will find unique beaches and rock pools. Östgötaleden extends below the house and a walk of about 20 minutes and you are in Omberg's beautiful beech forest. Hästholmen is a small harbor village that offers nice walking paths, lots of culture, swimming, restaurants and ice cream café. As well as proximity to Omberg's golf resort.

Our place is in a small community close to art and culture, downtown and restaurants and food. You'll love my place because of the small cottage's nice location in a cultural landscape that suits different ages. The cottage is on the grounds where we also live. Suitable for solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).

Charming mill cottage outside Gränna

A charming 1840s cottage that has had a facelift in recent years. Here lived the miller and his wife, right next to the mill, and you can hear the quiet murmur from the basin between the houses. Here you can enjoy the silence and be amazed by the cows grazing with their calves.
