Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Unique location directly on the West Frisian surrounding dike with beautiful hiking and cycling routes. The historic center of Enkhuizen is about 5 km away, as well as the indoor swimming pool, recreational beach, sailing surf school, Fairy Tale Wonderland, the Zuiderzee Museum, Het Streekbos/Klimpark and the cozy shopping street with many restaurants.

Captain Boathouse

Stay in the boathouse of the captain of Harderwijk. This is the place where he renovated an old boathouse into the luxurious place it is today. A nice place to rest, enjoy the surroundings, surrounded by the beloved water. Our B&B is equipped with all modern facilities such as a modern kitchen, Philips Hue lighting, smart TV and Quooker. The cozy veranda is complete with a luxury Jacuzzi and wood stove. The B&B with large private garden and unobstructed view is completely shielded from the farmhouse by a fence and is only accessible to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you can look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast of your choice is optional.

Relax in this unique and fantastic split-level home: lots of light, space and cozy outdoor terraces. From the decking, you jump into the water, or you sail away with the paddle board or with the rowing boat! From the large kitchen, you can look out over the water. With a staircase down, you enter the living room where it is wonderful to spend time, and you are on the same floor as the water. One level lower are the bathroom and bedrooms, and you are "face to face" with the water.
