Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Ottawa County

I expected a weekend getaway for my daughter's, granddaughters and myself. Even with the wind, rain and cold, it was perfect. Doug, you have a beautiful home. I will definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you!!

Coming to this cottage felt like stepping into a fairytale. The little touches from the cute drinking glasses to the monk fruit sweetener, made us feel comfortable and at home. The cottage is on a quiet street but walkable to downtown (30 mins). You can even see the eater from the front door. The outdoor shower was my favorite feature because, um, you're outdoors and can listen to the birds the whole time. Our hosts were lovely people with fantastic restaurant and landmark suggestions. All around, I can't think of a better mommy getaway for my and my friend. Thank you for having us! Can't wait to make this a yearly event :)

Home away from home. A cozy space that reminded us of Grandmas House. The decor, spare blankets, extra amenities and little touches made all the difference. Patty was responsive, kind and tentative. She really has thought of everything and if you’re traveling with a little one, this is the home to choose. High chair, stroller, booster seat, crib, pack n play, spare sheets, portable fan, baby gate, all provided. It was nice to have a room with the crib attached to the downstairs bedroom so our little one had her privacy and a quiet place to nap, it was also convenient and isolated from waking other family members upstairs. We enjoyed a short walk to the marina to watch the sunrise, a 10 min trip to Walmart for groceries and staples, and the fire pit in the back yard once the kids were asleep. A safe neighborhood that was easy to locate and perfect for families. We also enjoyed the puzzles, coloring books, games and kids table for our littles. Until next time :)

We had an amazing stay here for our fishing trip. The location was perfect—close to great fishing spots and surrounded by peaceful scenery. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it the ideal spot to relax after a long day on the water. Overall, a fantastic experience and we highly recommend this host/home for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with great fishing opportunities!

Gorgeous house and a lot of ways to enjoy it inside and out. We very much enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer.

Home was very clean, train sound was barely visible but offered ear plugs just in case, style was on point, and the host was kind enough to let us check in earlier! The town was so incredible cute. Thank you for opening up this home for visitors 💛

We really enjoyed our stay! Served as a home base for cedar point for two families. Plenty of sleeping options and sooo nice having 2.5 bathrooms. We walked to both restaurants nearby and highly recommend them. A few of us visited the nearby deer park and had a blast. Spent some time fishing down the street (didn’t catch anything but still fun). Communication from owner was superb. Had a snafu with our reservation (my fault) that she handled in stride. Only recommendations for improvement: list the sleeping accommodations more clearly (we thought we were getting a king and queen from the pix but they were actually a queen and full). Bigger cutting board and pizza cutter for kitchen :). Thank you!!!

The location is amazing! Beautiful view of Lake Erie from inside the house. Backyard is spacious and right on the water. The house is totally remodeled and the kitchen is very well stocked. We loved our stay and can't wait to come back!!
