Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Overton County

This home is in a great location and is extremely nice-well furnished with comfortable furniture, bedding, towels, internet and tvs with streaming services, along with everything you need (and don’t!) in the kitchen. The decks, grill, blackstone and outdoor furnishings were a nice add and a great place to relax from a long day on the lake! My large family (2 sons, 1 daughter) with spouses and children totaling 12+1 infant and 2 Shih Tzus had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our time. Russ and Mandy were friendly, communicated well with me and had everything well organized to inform us of check in, house rules, check out, etc. They’ve pretty well thought of everything to make your stay very enjoyable and I highly recommend!

The red house on mountain top road is a great place to stay in cookeville. It is centrally located and about 10 minutes from any part of the town. This was the perfect stay for our little college get together with our friends. We loved everything about our stay, but the best parts were the hot tub (best one I’ve ever seen!) the master shower, and the indoor outdoor fireplace. It was so awesome to be able to turn it on and fight the cold both in the living space after the hot tub and out on the porch while we were hanging out. The view from the back porch was also amazing with the empty winter trees.

Perfect place for travelers who enjoy being slightly outside of the immediate city & like a peaceful area with beautiful views. Quick drive to anywhere you’d want to visit or eat. Hosts give clear easy to follow instructions, respond quickly, give great recommendations, and have a gorgeous, spotless rental. Will definitely look to book again when I’m back in the area!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We cannot say enough GOOD about our stay or Dawn, the host. We had a perfect time at Stonecipher Manor. We had a large group of 14 adults and 2 children. It was the perfect space for us! Every single one of us enjoyed ourselves. The house itself is rich in history and they do an awesome job of incorporating and displaying it throughout the home. SO cool. The space was pristine, not to mention beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. The location was perfect. There are so many business and restaurants within walking distance. So convenient! After making our reservation we requested a few amendments and Dawn was incredibly kind, helpful, and understanding. She welcomed our large group and made us feel at home with personal touches and kind messages. A wonderful host and home. Thank you, Dawn!!

We had a very comfortable stay at Anna’s home. Keyless entry made check in easy. Anna was easy to reach with small questions and the beds were very comfortable.

Brad is an awesome host! This Airbnb is amazing. It’s like staying in an art museum. The place is super well decorated and lots of great amenities and is very cozy.

We were in town for a wedding and wanted a nice place to stay and this fit the bill! It was easy to find, very clean, and felt cozy. The upstairs neighbor does have some squeaky floorboards, but I don’t fault Blair for that! A good place to stay overall.

Absolutely beautiful spot to get away. Very quite and serene. Lovely view and lovely deck! Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

We had an amazing time with our family and friends before they head back to college/work. Our boat is at Hurricane Marina and the drive there was less than 15 minutes- which was very nice! We enjoyed playing pool and games. House had everything you needed and was clean and comfortable! We highly recommend this place and Michelle was super responsive! Thank you for sharing!

Easy drive to everything you need. Lots of activities for all ages at campground. Beautiful hiking nearby. Firepit was great. Staff was excellent.

We had a dirt bike race near Muddy Pond so this cabin was perfect for us. Ms. Jane was very sweet and accommodating. The cabin was clean and nice and my family loved the heated pool! We will definitely try to stay here again next year!

Loved staying at Mike's cabin. Despite being called a cabin, it really feels like a home as it is clean and very well climate controlled. We never felt uncomfortable. It was an extextremely peaceful setting.

We loved staying here for a weekend getaway! The cabin is right on the lake so the view is gorgeous. It is so peaceful and quiet. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed and the host always responded quickly when we had any questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Had such a lovely weekend here for my boyfriend’s birthday! The cabin was perfectly located and the hot tub and fire pit were a great addition. Went on a great hike at Standing Stone State Park which was about 15 minutes from the property. It is pretty far away from the main roads so it’s perfect for a peaceful weekend. The cabin had a convection oven, microwave and grill but did not have a hot plate or stove top- we were able to adapt easily but just plan accordingly

Beautiful lake, peaceful setting. Enjoyed the snow, just wished for more time there.

Great townhome - so cute and comfortable for our visit to Cookeville. Perfect location that was convenient for our TTU tour and to explore fun downtown shops and restaurants.
