“My husband and I spent Valentine's day holed up together in this adorable cabin. Our host was incredibly quick in responding to some minor issue we had and had it resolved the next day. The space was very clean and we'll kept and we really enjoyed our Valentine's day in Packwood.”
Private, serene luxury suite in gated community. The suite is more like a high end hotel suite, with basic kitchenette, spacious bathroom and fabulous sauna, two queen beds with cozy bedding and your own private entrance. Hotel experience without the noisy neighbors! My husband and I live next door full time, out of sight if you have any needs. Note that we both work full time for White Pass Ski Area, so we can always answer any questions you have about secret powder stashes. WIFI incl.
“The alpenhaus is the perfect base camp for enjoying white pass and the surrounding area. Mary is a great host with lots of good advice for the region. The accommodations are clean and cozy. Sauna is a huge amenity PLUS. It is definitely hotel style with just a small kitchenette, but it is very well stocked with coffee/tea/plates/bowls/cups/microwave/toaster etc. We brought basics for breakfast and snacking and were totally happy with the setup. Incredible views! I could go on. Thanks for everything!”

“My girlfriend, her teenage daughter, their pups, and I enjoyed a few relaxing days at this cabin. Even though we knew the nearby national park and state park would be closed, we wanted to get away and relax in the forest, and this cabin fit the bill. We were still able to walk and bike around the neighborhood, and hike some small minor trails within walking distance. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals, and we enjoyed reading in the Adirondack chairs in the morning while elk grazed in the nearby field, then moving indoors for cards and Netflix in the evenings. All in all a very peaceful setting at a great cabin. (We had differences in opinion about the roosters crowing next door, but I considered that a peaceful background sound as well!) Check-in, check-out, and communication were all very easy.”
