The room I stayed in was truly wonderful and lovely. The location is ideal for anyone looking to get away from the noise and chaos of city life and experience a rural setting connected to nature. I had a great time during my trip and enjoyed the area. Cabangan is better suited for those with a motorcycle or personal vehicle, although it's still accessible for those without one. Overall, I'd rate it a solid 10 out of 10. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond. Additionally, the caretaker, Kuya Jared, and Ate Lea were incredibly helpful and generous. I will definitely come back here again. Thank you!

For budget travelers, this host is a cheap alternative to beach resorts. Overall, the house is great. It has both sunset and mountain views. We also enjoyed dipping at the beach nearby. Accessibility: The place is 6-7 hours away from Manila, and 15 mins away from Iba bus terminal (via tricycle). You won't get lost if you will ask the host in advance how to get there. Location: Public beach is just few steps away and it is not crowded. It is also easy to get around. Place and room: The price is worth for its price, having your own bathroom. I hope they could improve bathroom essentials especially the toilet (no flush) and bidet. Other than that, everything would suffice. Services: Ms. Jesusa is very responsive and helpful. We also would like to commend and thank Ate Aibee (the caretaker) for taking care of us during our entire stay. She provided all our requests with all smiles.

This is such a cute place! We had a wonderful stay here while visiting friends in Palauig. It is clean and very safe! I highly recommend!

I forgot my shoes but they were very accomodaties in helping me to get them back. Also had a very pleasant stay.

Upon entering the house, i was impressed with the interior. I did not expect to find a house like this in iba. The house is compact but styed like an upscale condo in manila. The house has everything we needed. Everything was clean and well maintained. Staff mang dado was very accomodating.

We had a wonderful stay at Erlyn and Jun's rest house! Erlyn and Jun were fantastic hosts! Everything was perfect — cozy, clean, and welcoming. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway. Thank you for your hospitality! Would definitely stay again!😊

As a large family, we stayed at Melisa's place for a week. Our thoughts: Pros: -- Great beach-side location. It was very easy to get to the ocean. -- Good layout. We liked the kubo setup of the property. -- Helpful staff. The caretakers were friendly and cooked delicious food for us. -- Mostly peaceful. We had the property to ourselves, which was very nice. Cons: -- Bathroom. There's only 1 toilet, which isn't ideal for large groups. Also, although the indoor shower and toilet have a wall between them, the wall doesn't quite extend to the ceiling. So it's a bit awkward if somebody's using the toilet while somebody else is using the shower. -- A bit of noise. The neighbors were mostly very quiet all week, which was nice. But on our last night, the property next door hosted a wedding ceremony, and the music blasted all afternoon until about 10pm. We don't blame Melisa for this, but there's a small noise risk. Overall: Very good, we would go back anytime.

Host has some excellent caretakers living nearby who are always available to address concerns or requests. Check-in was smooth and the overall experience was fantastic. The house smells wonderful, the interior is beautifully designed, the pool is clean and the beachfront is stunning. The beds and sheets are clean and comfy. Initially, I was concerned about the lack of a TV, but it turned out to be a great opportunity for us to focus on bonding as a family. While the stay was enjoyable, there are a few areas for improvement (though nothing major): occasional interruptions in electric power, the baths could be more convenient if located inside the rooms, the metal doors are a bit hard to open and lock and blackout curtains would be a helpful addition for privacy, especially since workers are on the other side. We hope we have access to the upper floor. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we look forward to staying longer next time.
