“Sarah's little rainforest getaway is the perfect weekend escape. Nestled right in the heart of Paluma village, you'll find after your beautiful drive up Mount Spec Road you can park your car and walk to all the major walks in Paluma as well as the Tea room, Pottery shop and Rainforest Inn. The house is a quaint, well maintained cottage and is perfect for a couple or those with young kids and has all the essential cookware for cooking a nice meal. As someone from the far South of NSW Australia, I think the temperature was perfectly cool, but I'd say for the Far North Queenslanders who find it a little chilly, the wood fire will make it even more perfect. I can't wait to come back and visit again!”

“This is the perfect house for a big group or family to enjoy feeling ‘off the grid’ without being off the grid. Just metres from the beach, and tucked amongst bushland, you feel like you’re tucked away in your own oasis. We made ourselves at home and made use of the cooking facilities both inside the house and the BBQ on the deck. The bedrooms and bathrooms were extremely comfortable. Despite being winter we braved the cool water in the pool and the kids had hours of fun. Pack plenty of insect spray so you can enjoy the glorious sunset!”
