Spacious, detached house in the northern suburbs of Athens. Near mount Parnitha, among the pines, with a big garden and a private swimming pool.
“This was such a gem of a find. A really nice neighbourhood, beautiful luxury houses along tree lined quiet roads. The house was family friendly, large, clean and open plan. The pool was magnificent and we swam multiple times a day. The house had everything we needed and the hosts were warm, hospitable, communication was swift, kind and open. We also received tips of where to eat and what to see. We would return to this beautiful house in an instant. Our only upset was having to leave. We would wholeheartedly recommend staying here and dealing with the hosts. Everything is in easy reach; beaches and Athens not far away. But coming home to a quiet neighbourhood with netflicks, pool and cool rooms - we were so very grateful.”
Just one hour away from the center of Athens, to the beautiful and unknown for many, mount Parnitha, you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city and take a break from the daily routine. Here you can relax and enjoy your morning coffee, a meal or just admire the wonderful view. Take the opportunity to unwind in nature and discover the unique fir forest of Attica across the National Park of mount Parnes.
“Very nice, clean room with incredible views. Very friendly host and overall a lovely experience.”
Spacious, detached house of 150sqm in the northern suburbs of Athens. Near mount Parnitha, among the pines, with a big garden and a private swimming pool.
“It’s such a green and tranquil oasis and a really interesting space. The walls are covered with original artworks by a Greek artist. The living room has huge windows and a high ceiling making the place feel bright and spacious, but there’s also a TV area upstairs with a more cozy feel to it. If you’re looking for somewhere quiet, the location is excellent... some really nice little cafes and a minimart are only a few minutes walk away. My partner and I spent a lot of time at the Best Friends Cafe which has a beautiful outdoor seating area on the edge of a park surrounded by trees. A big supermarket is about 15 minutes walk down the hill (a bit more on the way back up) and there are also a few restaurants there as well. There are busses that can take you to the metro to get into the city, but a cab into the city will cost about €20. We stayed for a week and wish we could have stayed longer.”
