We loved staying here and will be back! Beautiful barndominium and lake. Private, peaceful, open nature was everything we needed and more.

Dixie's place was wonderful! I will book with her again. Her place is so beautiful, serene, and quiet. The minute I arrived it was apparent how much love and care she put into her place. She greeted me upon my arrival and had fresh cookies waiting. The place was immaculately clean and had absolutely everything I needed. Dixie provided everything I might need to make my stay comfortable. I slept great and felt safe as a solo traveler. I can't say enough good things.

House was great! Close to the work I had to do. It was quiet. Roxanne was easy to get a hold of when I had to cut my trip short. Would highly recommend!

Thomas and Mardy were excellent hosts! They were welcoming and went above and beyond to have their home ready for us on SIU’s graduation weekend. The home was spotless, easy to navigate, and the hosts were friendly and responsive. Highly recommend staying with them!

Billy's place was just what we needed for our stay for the street machine nationals. It was about 5 minutes out of town in a secluded wooded setting that was quite and peaceful. The cabin had everything we needed and Billy left provisions for breakfast that included fresh eggs,butter,bread coffee,and granola. We loved the screened in porch for setting and eating breakfast in the mornings. The only downfall is now the wife wants a screened in porch LOL. I would like to thank Billy for opening his beautiful property up for us to stay at, and if we ever need a place in southern Illinois again it will be my first place to see if it's available. The cottage was exactly what we needed to get out of the city with plenty of room for our kids to spread out. The cottage was clean, spacious & sooo serene. We had everything we needed besides a large pan/pot for cooking dinner for 5. Astra was prompt & friendly and you can tell she really loves this property. It was clean with all the amenities. We went exploring in Pyramid State Park & enjoyed dinner over at St. Nicholas Brewery all within 25 minutes of the cottage. We loved having cows as neighbors & the bonfires & stars at night. Thank you for hosting us!

The place was better than we expected. The owner was so accommodating! We were staying there because we were having work done on our house. We highly recommend the place!
