We’re so grateful to Chris, Holly and their team for their exceptional responsiveness and kindness. Even though we had a few hiccups on our end getting there, they made everything feel seamless. Everyone was incredibly friendly, informative, and checked in with us throughout the day to ensure we were doing well. I would absolutely recommend this place to families—it was such a comforting and welcoming experience. We left for one day, but honestly, we wish we had stayed at the Home the entire time. We truly didn’t want to leave. The views were amazing!!!

Boris's mountain chalet was nothing short of spectacular. Surrounded by impressive views and scenic roads, the cabin was situated in a beautiful nature space. The cabin may have been out far, however, the amenities were high-class. All appliances worked perfectly and provided the perfect room for our entire party. In addition to the appliances, additional amenities such as the Keurig, hot tub, and pool table were all incredible additions to our stay. While the location had the ideal in-home experience, the surrounding nature was impeccable and was a great addition to our trip. This Airbnb was perfect for our stay, however, the location is a little far out from other places, which makes it tough to go shopping during our stay. Additionally, the cabin is about 20 minutes into the mountains and requires a lot of skill to maneuver through. If you come prepared with food/paper products and are a skillful driver, this is the perfect Airbnb for you.

Place was AMAZING. Clean, huge, decorated beautifully, fully stocked coffee bar, so many games (bocce ball and corner hole, tabletop shuffleboard, wall scrabble, every board game you could imagine). Hot tub was clean and already warm. We watched deer in the backyard and saw them (and turkeys) all over Big Canoe. Community is 😍, so much to see inside the gates (trails, wildlife, lake, fishing, golf). Just outside gate we had great pizza at Night Train. Loved Mexican at Fuego. Even though it’s a small town they have no shortage of restaurants. We were five women and we all had our own bedrooms (this place could easily sleep 15). It would be great for large family gatherings. We’ll definitely be back. 5 star all the way. Also…Amicalola is 15-20 minutes away. Don’t miss Gibbs Gardens which is 15 minutes too.

We stayed at this gorgeous house in the perfect secluded location. They had all the amenities and everything you needed inside! Lots of space, very spotless house, grill came in very handy for delicious food! Very quiet location and romantic for a weekend getaway! The hot tub was absolutely perfect and very very relaxing. The hosts were amazing and very responsive. We definitely will stay here again, thank you so so much for our stay!

Absolutely loved this stay. Life had recently been a lot and I needed a little R&R, and this place did not disappoint. The cabin is small and cozy, the sauna and hottub provide perfect relaxation, and the view of the night sky was just beautiful. Luis was an amazing host, very communicative, and offered some great local recommendations. I will definitely come back.

The reviews for this amazing cabin speak for themselves. Our time here was perfect. It’s far enough away from things to be quiet, but close enough to drive to stores and parks to be convenient. My girlfriend and I loved the fireplace out on the deck, we had our coffee and breakfast out by the fire each morning. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again, if in the area. 5 star all the way! Don’t think too much about it, you’ll love this classy place like we did.

I’m going to list both pros & cons to this cabin. I’m purposely not categorizing and I’m mixing them together so that you not only see the negative(s) but the positive(s) as well. - Gorgeous scenery; We were able to see wildlife every day. - Scott & Lisa were great at responding to every message - minor repairs needed. - Scott & Lisa made sure to make this home comfortable for families - including babies/toddlers - all bedrooms were on a different floor - while the driveway is beautiful and well-maintained, it is steep. We traveled in a 2024 front wheel drive Chevy Trax & a 2019 Ram & both vehicles made it up & down w/o issue. - There are so many things to do on the property. - There are no curtains hanging in the bathrooms. While the house is pretty far from the other houses, I could see another house from the master bath. The bathroom on the 2nd floor could easily be seen in from the 2nd floor balcony. This was an amazing home for the weekend. I would 100% stay here again.

This place was perfect for our family. There was a ton of space and the kids were fully entertained between the aracade games, air hockey, and games. The kids even got to play with some of the kids in the neighborhood. Loved all the outside spaces set up to enjoy the views and fresh air. Kicthen had everything we needed and more! The host was very responsive and accommodating. Home has a steep driveway with a leveled off carport at the top and route to the house is what you would expect getting to a home in the mountains. Would definitely return and with everything offered this place was outstanding for the price! Zero complaints and would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a getaway.

I cannot say enough about this place! I am local to the area and needed a breath of fresh air to get away, and boy did I get that. The house is nestled in a spot of trees, quiet area, and you have a great view of the valley right through the trees off the back porch. Great sunlight on various parts of the porch throughout the day, and stays breezy and cool enough at night that even on an 80° day, you can still pop in the hot tub after dark. Sometimes it even gets cool enough before that! Tons of board games provided, and killer living room space. The kitchen is also a dream! The hosts provided laundry pods, and dishwasher pods. I thought this was really thoughtful. Any questions I had were answered, and I really didn’t have many. Multiple wildlife sightings, including deer, owls, and a bear. Perfect porch for my dog, there are gates on both sides. I could keep going, but just book the trip. 10/10 recommend, and I will be back.

I’m from Vermont but currently live in Jacksonville, Florida, so being able to drive to Big Canoe and see the mountains and trees truly brought me back home. It was the best feeling ever! We loved it so much that we’re planning to come back in May. The cabin is beautiful!

Greatly enjoyed the cabin and it's ease to enter/exit. The drive way was great as there is no need to back in or out. The place was clean except for some old bread left in plastic bags on top of the refrigerator. Other than that (which is being very picky) the place was off the charts. Great TV, furniture, comfortable bed. I have absolutely no complaints. Sincerely hope to return there!

My family rented several home in Big Canoe for my daughter’s wedding. We had family staying at this particular home and it was perfect. If you love nature, this is a great spot!

The views make this place incredible! The house is older and has mostly new furniture, linens, and is very well stocked. The kitchen and bathrooms reminded us of childhood in the 70s and 80s. I highly recommend this as an awesome and affordable getaway.

We spent 5 weeks at this cozy cabin with our 3 young children while we were selling our own house in town, and we truly felt right at home. We only had one minor issue that was fixed immediately. The hosts were all super kind and responsive. We love Big Canoe and Trevor’s cabin is a gem. It’s deep in Big Canoe, but that means zero traffic noise! So incredibly peaceful, we didn’t want to leave.

We had an amazing stay at Sergio’s Airbnb! The home was incredibly nice, clean, and spacious, with cozy decor that perfectly matched the beautiful woodsy, forest aesthetic. Sergio was a fantastic host — he responded quickly and made sure everything went smoothly for us. Everything about our trip felt perfect, and we truly appreciate and love that we chose to stay here. If I had to mention anything, it would just be that the location is a bit far from stores and food options. While it was easy to find, the drive up the mountain had a lot of twists and turns that made it a little challenging. That said, it was absolutely worth it for the peaceful setting and the overall experience. Highly recommend staying here!

Stayed here for a birthday weekend with friends and had a great time! The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed, the game room and karaoke machine were super fun, and we all loved how comfortable the beds are! Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful and cozy cabin. Cabin was clean and has everything you need. Wifi is great. Supermarket is 3 miles away. Great amenities in the community. Overall My family enjoyed our stay.

We had a great long weekend over the summer in Big Canoe. The house was perfect for my family and children. Appreciated the well stocked coffee bar as well as all the entertainment and games for my kids and family. It was the perfect size for what we needed. Tammy was very helpful and responsive.

Where do I start. Darryl’s cabin was exactly what we needed! Everything about this trip was incredibly convenient and responsive. Darryl has to be one of the most thoughtful individuals we have had the pleasure of interacting with. He makes planning for a long weekend a breeze. He let us know exactly what he had already in his cabin from splitting fire wood for us to enjoy their amazing fireplace, extra dog beds/crates for our dogs to toiletries etc.. The cabin itself feels like home the second you walk through the front door. You’ll be floored by the view when you walk into the high ceiling living room with this incredible view off the mountain looking back at you! This cabin was everything we could have asked for and more! The photos are incredible and no they still don’t do this place justice! Thank you Darryl for sharing your space with us. We can’t wait to come back! 5 out of 5 best experiences we’ve enjoyed on this site!

We had a great trip to Jasper GA. Alot of that was the cabin we choose to stay in. It was spotless clean, very private and our host was extremely responsive. I would highly recommend. Kim

Beau's place was perfect for 5 plus a dog. Fully equipped and had all we needed. My daughter and boyfriend took over the basement and there is privacy for all. Loved all the deer we saw and the absolute beauty of Big Canoe. Beau was wonderful and gave great suggestions and was always available if we needed anything. Highly recommend.

We used to live in big canoe, so it was like going back home. The house was amazing and stocked incredibly. The view, privacy and house all top notch.

Lovely, unique, and very cozy "cabin in the wood". Enðless hot water was a nice suprise! The rooms where well decorated, clean, and comfortable. Side note: this is OnTOP of a mountain, so make sure your brakes are in good shape. We had 360 views of a lake, a mountain, and you're still close enough to others, that if you needed help you could get it. Great experience all around!
