Vacation rentals in Pike County

We came from New York long drive, there early before check in time but Paulette let us know where the key was to get in. Her husband checked up on us very nice all around. I wish we could’ve stayed longer. We will make it another trip. Thank you very much. Felt like home away from home.😊

Amazing location. Very peaceful surroundings and being right on the river really made my stay wonderful. the home was clean and ready when we arrived and very comfortable.

We enjoyed a peaceful and comfortable stay at Michele’s getaway. The weather was cloudy and cold but the fireplace and thoughtfully appointed porch made it easy to stay warm and appreciate the surroundings. Google led us to the wrong driveway at first, but it was easy to see the clearly marked driveway with the correct address. With all the amenities and well stocked supplies we felt right at home.

Jennifer and Chris are the best hosts! They are very friendly and responsive, feels like visiting family. Sweet Water Lodge is beautiful and very clean. We visited with 8 adults and 1 dog and had plenty of space. We fished and floated on the pond. We especially love the smoker, made some great ribs. We are already looking forward to our next visit, Thank you again for hosting us!

I cannot begin to put into words the beauty of this place and the amount of peace that was restored while visiting. Stacy kept in contact often and was very responsive. she was open to being flexible with the n8mber of guests we had arriving on 2 different days. she was very flexible regarding out pets. and our pets LOVED the ability run and run and run around the home and the pond.

Cozy Townhouse Retreat was our first lodging experience at an Airbnb location. The condo matched well with what it was advertised to be. Very clean, a great contemporary décor, good location just off the main highway. The 2½ baths were much appreciated. Soft towels, too. We didn’t cook in condo due to events we were in town to attend, but a survey of the kitchen reveled a well stock kitchen for food prep. Glad too that the coffee maker was pretty simple to operate, and we could use pods or loose coffee. Great first Airbnb experience for us.

This was a great place for our family to get together. It is very remote, but easy to get to. We loved the peacefulness there. Beds were comfortable and the place was neat. Would return!

Excellent stay at The Milkhouse!! We did a quick little getaway as a family for spring break, visiting the Mark Twain and Cameron Caves in Hannibal, MO. The Milkhouse is just a hop skip and a jump away and it was so peaceful and felt like home to us since we too are from the country. You can’t beat the stillness, chirping birds, mooing cows, and the gorgeous sunset! You are hard pressed to find another Airbnb with such a reasonable price and wonderful peace and solitude.
