The house is located in a safe area. The Subway is 5 minutes driving, 10 minutes on a bus. Walmart, Costco, Giant, Safeway, Wegmans, Aldi, and a bunch of other stores are within a mile-2 mile radius. Lots of carry out food locations around. You get your own very big private room, with a private shower. Microwave, kettle, toaster, mini-fridge, TV, b-ball hoop are included. You get to meet my dog named Sophie, she will make you a part of the family fast. Good for couples and families of three.
“Mark’s basement was the perfect low budget option for my friend and I to stay at while attending to an expo in Baltimore. Though you stay below their living space, you don’t hear much from what’s going on upstairs, the guest area feels very private. 30 minute drive to downtown Baltimore but there are stores very close, should you need anything. Mark was very kind and went out of his way to care about special requests. Great value for the price; would stay again.”
A very good neighborhood located in Baltimore County. Very quiet and peaceful. Walking distance to the bus stop and Old Court Train station. Train goes to Downtown Baltimore, John's Hopkins hospital, inner Harbor and so many places.
“My first Airbnb experience, I was a little concerned how it would all work out. Not to worry - Betty is without a doubt a SuperHost. She and her brother made the process of checking in as smooth as silk . Friendly hosts, speedy and clear communication, great value !”
Great rancher on a quiet street. Sunny spacious deck in back of house. Very close to I-695 and I-795 and I-83. Grocery stores and restaurants short walking distance away. Downtown Baltimore only 30-40 minutes away.
“We stayed at Grace's house for a month. It is a very nice and clean house in a residential neighborhood. Grace and her husband live next door and the yard is kind of like one big shared yard - the playground is by their home, whereas their garage was by our home. We didn't really mind this, but it is something to keep in mind if privacy is important to you! Almost everything you need can be found in the house, including many supplies for kids and babies. We wish the kitchen had a bit more equipment, like a mixer and/or food processor...though this is probably only a concern for long-term guests. We also did buy a few more basic kitchen items that were missing like measuring spoons, measuring cups, muffin pan, etc. Finally, Grace was a very responsive host, which was great when we had questions or concerns. One thing that happened at the beginning of our stay was she informed us that they were planning to do renovations in the basement each day for a couple of hours, which was a surprise to us and would have been quite inconvenient. Fortunately, we reached out and they agreed to hold off on the renovations while we were there. This is something you might want to check ahead of time when booking. Overall, we are happy with the month we spent in this family-friendly and inviting home.”
