Through the thick walls in summer pleasantly cool, in winter with the fireplace cozy warm you can make yourself wonderfully comfortable. The garden invites you to have breakfast in the morning and to end the day with a glass of wine in the evening. Close to the city and yet rural, you can reach everything on foot or by bike. The Baltic Sea (20 km) and the lakes lure you to swim in the silky water in summer.

Old Gardener’s House – a waterside paradise

The former gardener’s house, originally built in 1710, is nestled in the stunning natural landscape of the picturesque Holsteinische Schweiz, directly on the Schwentine River, one of Schleswig-Holstein’s longest rivers. In 2025, the house was lovingly restored with meticulous attention to detail. The result is a true gem situated directly opposite Schleswig-Holstein’s oldest manor estate. The surrounding landscape of lakes, fields, forests, and gentle hills lends the area its captivating charm.

Inmitten von Feldern und Knicks findest Du hier ein ruhiges Plätzchen am Feldrand mit Weitblick über die Ostsee, der Ostseestrand ist in 20min mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar. Es erwartet Dich ein frisch ausgebauter 14m" grosser Bauwagen mit einem Bett (160), einer kleinen Küchenzeile und je einer Sitzgelegenheit innen/aussen. Das WC und die Dusche befinden sich in einem weiteren Bauwagen nebenan. Frisches Gemüse und Eier aus unserem Garten stehen saisonal zur Verfügung, sowie ein Klappfahrrad :)

Enjoy a renovated holiday apartment covering 150 m² with four separate bedrooms and high-quality box spring beds (usable as single or double beds) – ideal for large families or groups. After eventful days in the lake region of Holstein Switzerland, you can relax in the sauna on the balcony. The large dining area invites you to spend evenings together with raclette or a game of poker. There is a bar in the house to round off your vacation day in a relaxed way. No parties in the apartment.

Umgeben von Seen, Natur und attraktiven Ausflugszielen wie dem Hansa-Park (20 Min) sowie Eutin (10 Min) und Lübeck (45 Min). Die hochwertig und gemütlich eingerichtete Wohnung ist bestens ausgestattet – ideal für erholsame Urlaubstage bei jedem Wetter. Es steht ein eigener Outdoor-Bereich mit einem Holzkohle-Grill zur Verfügung.

Located in the idyllic small town of Eutin (Fissau), about 300 meters from the Kellersee. SUP or bike tours, hiking or walking, canoeing and much more is possible right outside the door. Surrounded by picturesque Holstein Switzerland, between a beautiful lake landscape, it is an ideal starting point for excursions into the beautiful surroundings. It's also close to the Baltic Sea (about 20 minutes). The distance to the market square in Eutin is about 3 km.

Ideal for singles, couples and families with slightly older children (staircase rather steep and no child safety gate available). Parking space right outside the front door. Garden and large sun terrace can be used if needed and in consultation. Shopping is 3 km away.

Forest surrounds the "tower" on 3 sides, you can walk on the 4000 m² property and swim in the pure lake, dream on benches, watch the sea eagle from the Horst 800 m away. The living space on 2 levels offers all the features for living and working (fiberglass). On the terrace you can enjoy the sun and snack on the berries. Relax with owls, woodpeckers and bats.
