The place is close to the Saharna and Tipova monasteries. If you enjoy hiking and exploring Moldova's natural beauty, you should definitely stay here for at least 2 nights. The hosts were amazing, helpful, and friendly. The area was peaceful and clean. I can definitely suggest to anyone to stay here and have an amazing local experience. You can also get French cheeses made from local milk from the villagers in this place!

The bus from Chisinau will drop you outside the gate of Vila Roz and you can get the bus again from outside the gate when you're leaving. It's about a 45 minute walk to the Monastery. The village is beautiful and you can cycle around on one of the free Vila Roz bicycles. There isn't any place to eat except the food served at Vila Roz which was absolutely fantastic even if a touch expensive for the area, but worth every lei and more. The bed was very comfortable, the room impeccably clean along with the shared bathroom. The wifi was ok, but there was no water for a shower when I was there, however, that wasn't their fault. Communication was friendly, not prompt though and Olgo was very helpful with travel information that I needed. The gardens are beautiful and the whole place is very peaceful. One tip, when you're leaving Chisinau, ensure you get the bus to Trebujeni, not Orhei.
