Our house is surrounded by fields and forests, on a 1400 m enclosed property. Campoverde is a quiet, sparsely populated village with the charm of rural Galicia. Located in the Sil Canyons in the heart of Ribeira Sacra, 20 minutes from its viewpoints and 15 minutes from Monforte. In its surroundings you can find: native oak and chestnut forests, waterfalls, Romanesque art, roe deer, wild boars, vineyards and wineries with a designation of origin; all in the Sil Canyons.

The chapel dedicated to Santiago, along with the manor house, belonged to the Cabildo De Santiago, which personally exploited it due to its wealth in the production of the highly valued Ribeiro wine.
