Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Province of Pavia

Luca’s house is set high in the hills above Stradella amidst acres and acres of vineyards. The scenery is spectacular. My visit was exquisitely timed - early March but blizzard-like conditions were blanketing most of Europe in snow. It was super cold but the welcome from Luca and his mother was toasty warm. As was the house - complete with open fire. Luca arranged a restaurant booking in Stradella which served the best meal I had in three weeks of eating my way around Italy (north and south). Luca’s breakfast the next morning was superb and abundant: I didn’t have to worry about the prospect of dreadful airline food on my trip home - Milan/Dubai/Sydney. You definitely need a car to get Luca’s house. There’s no WiFi. Not a problem to me but my travelling companion almost needed to be put on life support! Of the six Airbnb venues I stayed at in Italy, Luca’s was the best. I’ll be back as soon as I can. Christine H

È stata un piacevole vacanza, Francesco è gentilissimo. La camera è comoda e spaziosa. La colazione è varia e abbondante. Impeccabile la pulizia. Per una sosta a Pavia è da tenere in considerazione. Consigliati i mezzi propri per gli spostamenti ( anche se Francesco quando può offre un servizio navetta)

Soggiorno fantastico, Isabella è una persona splendida e ti fa sentire come se fossi a casa tua. Lo consiglio al 1000%. Zona super tranquilla, immersa nel verde, non manca nulla. È come se ci vivessi da sempre, piena di piccoli dettagli che fanno la differenza.

Toll eingerichtetes Haus mit Liebe zum Detail. Dazu ein herrlicher Garten. Die Kommunikation war trotz kleiner Sprachbarriere kein Problem. Das Frühstück wird liebevoll zubereitet. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet. Vielen Dank für den erholsamen Aufenthalt auf meiner Reise. 😊

De ruimte was geweldig, de ontvangst heel hartelijk. Voor een persoon alleen - zoals ik - was de kamer met een tweepersoonsbed én eenpersoonsbed én eigen badkamer enorm. De host was heel vriendelijk. Michele deed zelf een snelle was voor me en hing het wasgoed ook nog proactief aan de lijn. Dankzij een coupon kon ik heerlijk ontbijten in de omgeving. De omgeving rond het appartement is wel redelijk saai. Maar het appartement zelf maak veel goed.

Spent a single night with Andrea and Anna. We were the only guests that day. Andrea and Anna refurbished an old farm house in the middle of a quaint village. It feels cozy and clean The location is secluded and perfect if you look for peace and quiet. Perfect place for hikes and strolls with beautiful view. The house is 15 mins up in the hills above Varzi. You could drive down for amenities but there are even a couple of agriturismo nearby. Very happy

La casa di Lara dall'esterno è anonima. Ma una volta dentro è un altro mondo. Anzitutto i libri che la riempiono e l'arredano anche, così come i molti oggetti non collocati a caso. Casa con una personalità molto forte. Colori caldi e avvolgenti. Poi ci sono le poesie di Lara, presenti per chi le vuole leggere, silenziose se non interessano. Infine cura estrema nell'allestimento della tavola per la prima colazione! molto pulita.

Posto incantevole con vista meravigliosa sulle colline dell'oltrepo! Una colazione memorabile! Ritornerò sicuramente!

BEST LISTING IN ITALY I highly recommend that even if you are going to -Pisa -Milan Etc you can stay here And then travel around I highly recommend to do a mandatory stop here in your trip to Italy. 🇮🇹 I am an airbnb host and traveler since 10 years ago, and there are not enough words to describe how bless and happy make me to stay at Francesco home. Even I enjoyed more his home than shopping at the Outlet! Home made breakfast, every detail was perfect. I definitely will come back and sent all my friends and relatives here. He makes you feel like home, and the mattress and rest was priceless. The best listing in Italy 🇮🇹 de verdad no es broma, es el mejor alojamiento en todo el país y eso que eh viajado mucho y probado muchos hoteles. Ellos salvaron nuestras vacaciones y nos ayudaron mucho. Mi mejor recuerdo sin duda será este hermoso alojamiento.

Sono stato nell'agriturismo di Antonella perché dovevo giocare una gara nel Country Club di Croara. Da subito si è dimostrata una persona molto cordiale, gentile e disponibile nell'accontetare le mie richieste. Mi sono sentito come a casa. L'agriturismo è situato sopra una vallata ed è in una zona molto tranquilla. L'unico neo era la connessione WiFi debole così come il segnale del telefono. Per il resto, se ci sarà una nuova occasione, tornerò sicuramente lì.

Claire's daughter Harriet greeted me. The three large dogs were friendly and the two cats were cute. The house was old but very well maintained. As for transportation, Claire had already explained that it was a difficult place to get around without a car, but despite Harriet not being included, she picked me up by car. I am very grateful for that. Maybe I was just a troublesome guest to her tho😂. The weather was not good, but I had a good rest. It was a comfortable accommodation like home.

Sono stata benissimo durante la mia permanenza, la zona è molto carina e il complesso in cui sorge il b&b è tranquillo, silenzioso e immerso nel verde. La stanza in cui sono stata è confortevole e i servizi ottimi, sincera ospitalità e accoglienza da parte della famiglia a cui sono sicura mi rivolgerò di nuovo quando passerò in zona per un altro concerto ( Mediolanum Forum a pochi passi ). Grazie di tutto!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The location is peaceful and offers a beautiful view over the surrounding nature and vineyards. The rooms have a real feel-good vibe – it’s easy to feel at home right away. The breakfast is absolutely top-notch!
