Refugio del Cosaco is more than a cabin: it's a haven of peace high up in Papallacta. Inspired by the mountains, we built this accommodation with comfort and rustic charm in mind. The interior features wood and large windows with a beautiful view of the Papallacta Lagoon. It offers a cozy atmosphere connected to nature, with a fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining room, catamaran hammocks, BBQ area, and a go-kart cart—ideal for couples and small families looking for relaxation.

It is a luxury cabin, located on the banks of a majestic river surrounded by many trees, ideal for those who love nature, luxury and comfort. You will feel like you are sleeping among the trees, with incredible views of the river, surrounded by a lot of native flora and fauna, from where you can see different species of birds, squirrels, and hopefully, other species. The area where the property is located is very safe and quiet, with different attractions and tourist activities

The cabin offers a warm and peaceful atmosphere where contact with nature is the main focus. Gathering around the fireplace and dining by candlelight will transport you to the essence of yesteryear, where sharing with your loved ones is paramount. We have solar panel lighting, and the cabin is equipped with a hot tub, fireplace, living room, dining room, and kitchen, very close to the Cayambe Coca and Antisana Reserves. It is an ideal place to acclimatize.

We have natural sunlight, and we also have candles if you’d like.
