We absolutely love staying at this tiny, quaint home whenever we visit our son at Quincy University. The space is spotless, thoughtfully appointed, and has everything we need for a comfortable stay. Its convenient location makes it easy to get around town, and it’s just minutes from campus. We’ve stayed here multiple times and it continues to be our preferred home away from home in Quincy. Highly recommend!

We stayed for a family Christmas get-together as the house was large enough to accommodate all of us. The area is very private and safe, and the view is wonderful. Given that we stayed in December, all of the leaves were off the trees which allowed for even more panoramic views from the bluff overlooking the Quincy Bay westward toward Missouri. Also, as a given during December, we were not able to utilize the screened-in porch. This would be a wonderful place to sit in the spring and fall, or if you were lucky enough to catch a cool, low humidity, summer evening. The location is on the north end of the city, so all entertainment and shopping is a drive into town, though not too far. The beautiful neighborhood would lend itself to nice walks, weather permitting. Penny is a great host, and was very responsive to us for questions we had during the stay. Overall, this is a great stay if you don't mind the price, or can share it with family or friends.

I am originally from the area and really appreciated how close this location was to some of my favorite spots including Maid Rite :) The house is very minimal in decoration which was perfect since I didn't have to do much extra baby proofing for my 18 month old toddler. Everything was also super clean! Very spacious for a 1 bedroom. Pack and play easily fit in the bedroom and we loved having access to the washer and dryer. We would certainly stay here again.

Would definitely stay here again. Sam was quick with responding and answering any questions we had. The home was perfect for what we needed and was in a great location for things to do. We will for sure look into this home again for any future visits to Quincy.

Beautiful historic home kept up with love. It was nice to stay there when visiting the Mark Twain history and be back in those days . The house was very clean and cozy. It’s close to Main Street.

Love the farm setting. Super sweet animals. The place was very loved inside and out. She was very flexible with our pets and the change in original plans. I would recommend this place.

Conveniently located on the main thoroughfare in town close to multiple dining establishments and only a few minutes from downtown. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Nice and quiet with a reserved, covered parking spot. Will definitely stay there again.

Ashley’s place was warm and comfortable and very clean. It was easy to find and she provided excellent instructions for check-in and check-out. It was perfect for our needs. If I weren’t so busy, I could see myself relaxing by one of the windows reading a book and drinking a cup of coffee. Plenty of natural light.

Great place and Jeanette made sure we had everything we needed and was able to extend our stay several times for work.

Beautiful home. We stayed just under 2 weeks. The beds in the upstairs loft were cozy! The kitchen had everything needed to cook nightly for the family. Nice backyard for the dog to explore. My son loved hanging out in the basement! We would definitely stay again if we are in Quincy!

This s a great place to stay especially if you are visiting the university as it is close by. Sam was responsive with our requests. With 3 full beds upstairs and 1 full bed downstairs everyone had a comfortable place to sleep.

This home and the views are stunning. We were in town for homecoming at Quincy University and this house fit our needs perfectly. The house is exactly as described with plenty of fresh linens and a fully stocked kitchen. We truly enjoyed the beautiful views and stunning sunsets.

The place was great! Very spacious yet still cozy. I was there after a snowstorm and, with short notice, they had the sidewalk cleared for me. I would happily stay again!
