Our slice of paradise sits on 1 acre of manicured tropical orchard with over 40 varieties of fruit trees, a giant stand of bamboo, hundreds of orchids and herbs. Newly constructed unattached studio cottage with canopy queen size bed and super comfortable full size futon. Indoor bath with shower and outdoor bamboo shower. Brand new kitchen and an adorable lanai for enjoying the panoramic view of sunset or morning coffee. Our teak swing above the cottage offers a horizon view of the ocean.

The Butterfly Suite is perfectly located for easy access to the Hilo airport, downtown Hilo shops and restaurants, Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, Richardson's and Honoli'i beaches for snorkeling and surfing, Rainbow and Akaka Falls, Kaumana Caves, Boiling Pots, Hawai'i Botanical Garden, Lili'uokalani Gardens and more local attractions. This all-concrete house is ocean front and perched on a lava cliff at Kehena Point. The Point sticks out into the ocean further than the surrounding lava cliffs and offers unparalleled views of the coast in both directions. Watch whales in season (November-April), and walk to a black sand beach.
