We loved it! Hari picked up the bus and took it to his house in 10 minutes. Located in a quiet typical Nepalese residential area. The room is very nice and you feel like home. The bed cozy and big enough. Gita prepared us super delicious food-we were even able to learn something like you cook it. Hari speaks very good English and has told us a lot about the area and people...and also about the Chitwan National Park and the animals. Super exciting! He was Djungle Guide in the national park for many years and also showed us the places on the river where you can see animals well and safely. We could have stayed longer and would go right there again.

Mountain View Eco Farm is a wonderful place to rest, reset, reconnect, immerse in nature, swim, hike, peddle, learn about Nepali culture and eat the most amazing food. Govinda, Chetana and their son Siddhartha are a beautiful, generous, hospitable and loving family. They grow all organic produce and each meal is garden fresh prepared with care and love. And some help from cute cow Lakshmi. The best food I’ve had for a while! The view is the best in the area 🤩

Father, mother and daughter (Shyam, Bishnu and Shilpa) live in this well cared for home. Both parents have a good knowledge of English and the daughter is almost fluent. They are very hospitable and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and well fed. The ensuite bathroom provides you with your own privacy but you are welcome to join the family in their living room. They have lived locally for many years and know everyone around and can provide any directions you require. The family is keen to assist you in any way possible. The wifi is a good speed and is reliable. I recommend this place for singles and couples, and even small families. It is suitable for both short and long stays.

Simanta and his parents are perfect hosts. Nothing is to much trouble, they share their knowledge of the area and cultures. The home is lovely, the bedroom is spacious and comfortable. Bathroom is bright and clean. We had a breakfast and a dinner with the family it was delicious and plentiful and a good price. The safari trip and day jungle walk with Simantas fathers company, were both good and good price. There were also good restaurants in walking distance and all the places of interest are in walking distance. Our onward travel was booked for us too. We would highly recommend staying here.

Sonam is a great host. And the lady who stays in the same area as the room was amazing and I think she is the biggest reason all the past users recommended this place. I felt she is like my mother. This place is clean and quiet - nice for isolate yourself from the busy life. Only thing I highly recommend to the host is adding extra heater during the winter time. Excepting this everyting was perfect and I will visit here again especially to meet the lady.

Samjhanas home is great for a stay in Gorkha. The family are friendly and approachable. We arrived early by bus and were welcomed with a coffee. The home is in a good location for walking to the square and museum. Also, upto the palace, temple and viewpoints. The room is quiet and comfortable. Bathroom has a nice hot shower. We were able to make hot drinks and have breakfast in the rooftop kitchen. We would recommend staying here to visit Gorkha.

Rem was very thoughtful with us, he helped us throughout our stay here in Chitwan. Imagine, it's your birthday and your host is going to buy you a cake to celebrate your birthday with the whole family, then everyone invites you to dance. And that's just one example! That's the Tiger's Den vibe, no need for a 5-star hotel to have a good time:) You can also stay quietly and stroll in the shade of the garden Here you can even rent bikes and have water bottles, in the evening it is cool thanks to the vegetation and there are lots of fruit trees. Accommodation level is rather comfortable, all the efforts have been put in place to make sure you have a pleasant stay. You can eat here every morning, midday and night, and jump at the opportunity because the food is great as well as being very well cooked (detail can be important, but the dishes were just spicy enough, not too spicy for us)

The place is away from the busy Pokhara and I enjoyed the quiet. Breakfast was excellent and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay again. Thank you.
