Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Rapides Parish

Very peaceful piece of property. We woke up to roosters crowing and heard woodpeckers, something you don’t get in inner city Houston! We enjoyed our stay here and look forward to staying here in the future.

My family had the absolute best time at the Klos Kabin! It was easy to find, super clean, and had lots to do outside for my 9 and 14 year old boys. There is a picturesque view of the lake from the back porch and a beautiful boat house that you can easily use to get kayaks in and out of the water. Also, at night the view of the stars is so clear and unobstructed - it’s unlike anything I have ever seen. Staying at Klos Kabin did not feel like we were in Louisiana, even though we were just 2 hours away from home. We will definitely be returning in the foreseeable future.

The home was well stocked with essential items. The private dock was a great place for my entire family to fish, swim and hang out. My family of 5 slept very comfortably with all the space and multiple bathrooms. I definitely would recommend this home to anyone looking for a getaway.

We were in town for work and this location was perfect. Most important to us is cleanliness. This home met our high expectations. We will definitely book again soon.

A beautiful, quiet relaxing large home over looking the river. I would definitely stay here again! Very clean & great amenities. Enjoyed morning coffee on back porch .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Suzy and Danny were overly accommodating and kind. They communicated and never hesitated or made us feel like a burden. The cabin is wonderful! It smells like Heaven and felt so warm and inviting. They have everything you could possibly need and the convenience store a few miles away in Nebo has anything else you forgot and not expensive! Including fishing supplies! We enjoyed being able to use the golf cart and the outdoor fire pit. The fish weren’t cooperating very much this time BUT thats beyond human control. We can’t wait to book again! We really could have moved right in! If this place is available for your next trip do not hesitate to book!!

Super nice place to stay and wonderful host. Cleanliness and communication were superb. For some reason my Iphone directions kept take me to the apartment complex behind the house which is on a completely different block. So watch for that, but once at the residence, we loved our stay. Would definitely highly recommend.
